While Gaza doesn't have mountains or headlands as a backdrop, it is certainly a very pleasant climate, seascape, & has lengthy beaches in close proximity to the hot, dry & very beautiful Sinai. Not much different to Scottsdale or Albequerque, but with beaches! About 80-100 years ago, the Brits established a tuberculosis spa at Bir Hasna, not far inland from Gaza. Oh well, some people never learn...
