I normally do not like to discuss politics because I don't feel that my opinion will change anything, but I do have an opinion. I do not want to see innocent people die, on any side of a conflict, but it disturbs me that reporters who have the power to tell the truth to the world choose not to. Fortunately for Israel there have been very little casualties. The reason for this is that Israel as a whole protects it's people. Hamas tells their people to remain facing danger because this is how they can use their talent in propaganda. Years ago when Israel was at war with Egypt, Nasser also stated that he has a lot of people to offer to martodam and he did not care how many people would die in order to try to defeat Israel. Hamas does not care about the people of Gaza. Hamas just hates. It is unfortunate that the Media harps on the fact that children were killed in Gaza, but they do not give attention to the children that were killed in Israel nor do they discuss the fact that Hamas puts the people in harms way. The majority of the world is anti Jewish and anti Israel. The world as a whole is enjoying the benefits of the technology and medicine advancement that has come from Israel, but at the same time hates the fact that it comes from Israel. As for Hamas, they are in Gaza because no Arab country wants them. So much money has been given to the people who are "in charge" in Gaza, but the people "in charge" are the only ones benefiting from the money. Israel is bad mouthed and so I do believe that since opinions will be negative no matter what Israel does, they may as well do whatever is necessary to clean up Gaza permanently. I really do believe that the world needs the people of Israel more than Israel need the world. The list of benefits gotten from that tiny country the size of New Jersey is very long.

Israel has to attack Rocket Launching sites to keep number of Hamas Rockets down.The Collateral damage is the Fault of Hamas tho Israelis make mistakes .That happens even with Friendly Fire where Artillery fires on its own Troops .Happened in Iraq USA Bombers killed Brits .

I am ashamed to learn of those in my government who send my tax money as "foreign aid" to enemies of Israel like Hamas. Please know that there are Americans who dislike Obama for his favorable treatment of terrorist organizations and his blatant dislike of Israel. There are many American Christians who would agree with me. I pray for peace and prosperity in Israel. David

A man without a clear course, no cojones, no sensible vista on Near and Middle East, and with quite a lot of blah, blah. Now, he apparently realizes Israel has the right to protect itself and its people. And his preferred Hamas partners are bloody killers. What a sensational insight! A glimpse of geopolitical enlightenment? Nope. Well, he got the Peace Unnoble Price, some morons get this sometimes by other deranged ones. So far, his geopolitical blah blah is obviously build on the honor of this accolade, he has never deserved.

Thank you President Obama. Israel is being cautious and any loss of innocent life is a result of collateral damage and deeply regretted. We hope and pray that Palestinians and Israelis find a peaceful resolution.
