When Israel pulled out of Gaza there was an assumption that hamas/PA would begin to build an economy. There was no blockade. That came later when hamas kicked out the PA. The destruction of Israel is in the hamas charter. They will never accept a disarmament nor will they accept a cease fire as long as they think they are winning this war. Israel should empty its prisons into Gaza and fire cheap rockets, cut all supplies in and only when they are staring down a national defeat will there be a cease fire. That seems to be a long hard way off. Simply giving into hamas gets you nothing but further demands.

Next; the same thing will happen on the West Bank - Hamas will oust Abbas - and we will have the &*^&%^& two-state solution ! It is high time we fire Bibi and bring in Lieberman

Can't Turkey send soldiers to patrol Gaza border and put cameras and sensors to record who attacks who first? What is the point of Erdogan wanting Israel to stop its murder campaigns when he isn't even able to give a proposition.
