Since i have lived in this country, i have never experienced such hatred for ones fellow man, if its ultra right wing against the state, haridem v secular. Hatred towards gay people. arabs seculare people. This is a land full of hatred and intollerence, it seems we have forgot how to act as human beings and respect your fellow man even if you dont agree with his politics or religious point of view. There is very little chance of peace here when we cant even make peace with our fellow country men, Do i regret making aliah? Yes i do. The reason we left europe was because of the growing antisemitism, although living here in Israel i have never experienced such hatred and anger , intollerence and lack of respect for others as there is in Israel.

As Betty did, I also came to live in Israel many years ago. Unfortunately I must agree with her that after all these years my conclusions on the Israeli society is what she describes in her post.
