How do you bring a terrorist group to the negotiating table when they are proud to be firing rockets at the civilian population? First you have to stop the rockets and threat of infiltration to kill, then we can talk. Hamas killed every business they did not control and kept everyone poor and dependent on them. They used that to create a militia to wage war on Israel, because their aim is to destroy Israel. If they succeed then even more people can live in the same misery as those victims in Gaza.

During the 2nd WW, the Allies destroyed thousands upon thousands of German, Italian and Japanese cities and killed millions of their people. Why? Israel has every right to defend itself from HAMAS. Any other nation would have eliminated the problem years ago...Israel should have also and avoid renewed hostilities every 2 years.

Had Hamas agreed when Israel did to the original cease fire, most of the death and destruction could have been avoided. Hamas's sole goal is Israel's destruction, so it is no wonder they reap distruction. Hamas is an organization of war criminals. For Gaza to return to the land of the living, the people of Gaza must hand over the Hamas members and leaders to Israel. Hamas brings death. You knew that before, yet you let them continue to fire rockets into Israel. EVERY death and injury could have been prevented. EVERY death and injury is the full responsibility of Hamas.
