Write about the goodness of the army that protects you rather than your negativity at your PM.
2. I also said it was a big irony that Egypt is forging truce !

3. To Mr. Redbourn (commenter)
David ,   Montreal, Canada   (08.01.14)
You are right, I have notice a change of heart with Ynet the past few months. They don't publish as often the non facebook readers, and I miss Sarah B comments. In fact I doubt I will ever be posted again. Maybe Ynet is being bought out by Haaretz., or Aljazira.
4. Benjamin Netanyahu
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (08.01.14)
Walk on road, hm? Walk left side, safe. Walk right side, safe. Walk middle, sooner or later [makes squish gesture] get squish just like grape. Here, war , same thing. Either you war do "yes" or war do "no." You war do "guess so," [makes squish gesture] just like grape. Understand?
5. Shame on allies who glorified terrorists & terrorized Israel

6. wrong objective
sunny ,   dc, usa   (08.01.14)
israel should never have given up control of the gaza strip...and the objective of this operation (give the number of rockets fired at you) should have been to reoccupy gaza. then hamas would not operate from there, no rockets could be built/fired and overall the palestinians life could have been improved. this blunder will probably be repeated.
7. Bibi is a coward, he betrayed us
amir ,   israel   (08.01.14)
8. How about killing Haniyah & the rest of the Hamas leadership
Omri   (08.01.14)
What are you waiting for?
9. Bibi is hardly begging for a cease fire.
Ron ,   oc us   (08.01.14)
But, a clear victory is illusive. Although, hamas will break this cease fire and the carnage will continue. Hamas is the last entity that wants to face the morning after. This has not been a war of Israeli choosing. I think hamas will go down, because they did not have to fight this war. Israel did.
10. Each Schiffer article should have: "I hate Bibi" disclaimer.
tom ,   tel aviv   (08.01.14)
Following that he can write, whatever he thinks will put the PM in worst possible light. "Spinning" is an art form indeed. In the present situation (like in any war) there are ample opportunities for presenting scorching, criticizing opinions about the unfolding events. I admit: it is tempting to assume many of Schiffer's points (I don't believe I've said it :-)! It is also possible to rebuke them and argue for a brilliant handling of the situation....take your pick.
11. The Israeli PM is a loser !.

12. The only "win" is when Hamas is
DT ,   TA Israel   (08.01.14)
neutralised. Anything less is a win for Hamas and a defat for Israel
13. Ariel Sharon was right
(08.03.14)
Israel lost the war in 1993 when Rabin and Peres imposed the Oslo accords on Israel, exactly as the Zionists warned back then. Every single warning the Zionists gave was correct, and every single promise and assurance given by the Left has been proven wrong. We are in a situation where former Israel ally United States supports Hamas (not even "just" Fatah) when it attacks Israel. Israel's airport can be closed at a whim, the entire Israeli civilian population is threatened, Israel is condemned for basic self-defense, and the "world" will only be satisfied when the Jew is dead. Ariel Sharon said it best when he ordered the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif: the fate of Tel Aviv will be that of Netzarim.
14. # 8 - We did it already and nothing changed
Avi L.   (08.06.14)
We did it already and nothing changed, other mad dogs will come up. it's nearly hopeless, it's now too many years that they are taught "jihad" since childhood. We should have gone until the beach destroyed Hamas and shown to Hezballah that we are determined to go to the very end to destroy our ennemy. Showing to PLO too that the time of terror is over. I'm afraid we did neither of them and the story will repeat itself until Iran comes in and we'll smash them for good, but then what? How many dead caused by too many ego-tripper? Once more we didn't end the job.
