People like Melamed brought us a powerful armed Hamas, and the situation where a powerful Hamas can attack Israeli citizens, and Israel is condemned for any self-defense. You'd think with rockets on Tel Aviv, the airport closed and international support for Hamas, Melamed would realize she was wrong and she would have the grace to defer to those who were right. Instead, she keeps writing the same ideas that killed the IDF soldiers.

Since the author has no common sense,I will provide her with a little of Winston churchill's common sense: "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last"
4. Diplomacy, not War
Alan ,   Karmiel, Israel   (08.02.14)
"Let Diplomacy Win..." is a wonderful and accurate analysis of Israel's predicament. Hopefully, our leaders will read it and learn what they must do.
5. Diplomacy requires a basis of pain
Dan   (08.01.14)
Even if every tunnel and missile is destroyed, as soon as the IDF leave the tunneling and importation of missiles will start again. Israel is keen to negotiate because it feels pain with every soldier's death, but that hasn't been true about the Arabs. They need to not want to repeat this experience. What can achieve this, oh wise, compassionate world?

Well its not right that in the 21st Century wars will be won at the round table. It is the same as it used to be during mankind. War has to be won by crushing the enemy on his ground. Anything else are useless dreams and helps the enemy.

Adi ,   Israel   (08.01.14)
Author. Ask Hamas to learn Yoga. Then u can apply your psychology. They believe the more they kill. The more they behave like animals. The more influence they will have. The same with Isis and every other animal terrorist.
13. Resurrection of Evil...
John Prophet   (08.01.14)
The evil that was Nazisim has resurrected itself in the form of radical Islam. Such evil can not be negotiated with. You either destroy it or succumb to it. It is written!

Who said the world has changed? the world hasn't change too much since the last time you did something for first time,,, ? did you noticed how to change the world is a slogan used by politicians? Where is the logic eh? Politicians can manipulate the public to create obedient taxpayers, to conquer adepts during elections votes, to use all kind of tricks to control freedom of expression, not to mention all those sophisticated drones and surveillance devices to spy on everyone. Of course, that is in western democracies like the United States where you spend must of your time analyzing, comparing, assuming, inferring, questioning, contrasting, evaluating, every single thing western or eastern societies do... Ps: Ynet, please post in the news the letter & reply Mr Jon Voigh send to the spanish artist Cruz
