1. Oh boy! The PLO backs Hamas!
David ,   Hartford USA   (07.31.14)
I'm sure that's got to be good for Israel! NOT! Isn't the world tired of listening to psychopaths making demands?
2. at 8:30 am
Bob   (08.01.14)
At 8:30 am Hamas will break their fast for iftar and fire more rockets. that's been the trend. That's like the 10th cease fire and they broke every single one of them only a few minutes later.
3. KERRY,BAN: ISRAEL MUST SUICIDE ITSELF!
Lynx ,   Palestine   (08.01.14)
4. Israeli withdrawal? Hamas must withdraw all its tunnels
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (08.01.14)
It is not realistic for Hamas to expect Israel to withdraw its troops from gaza if Gaza is not willing to withdraw its tunnel troops dug into Israel. The only way this can be achieved is for Hamas to identify the location of all its tunnels dug into Israel, and to dismantle them piece by piece so they can never again be used, including every piece of concrete reinforcement.. Only physically removing all the tunnel structures proves Hamas has left Israel. Only then should Hamas ask for Israel to leave Gaza, which does not require removing any Israeli tunnels into Gaza, since none exist. The months/years it took to dig these attack tunnels proves Hamas planned this war in advance. No rebuilding aid or construction materials allowed into Gaza until every tunnel is proven to have been removed.
5. 72 hours nice... time to find more tunnels... RIGHT ???

yonatan Allon ,   adelaide/Israel   (08.01.14)
Wow, what a revelation. Is it from Allahhhh?
9. whatever........continue to destroy tunnels!
Calibi ,   Sydney Aust   (08.01.14)
all talks and ceasefire means nothing to Israel now except tunnel completely destroy. If this menace is not eradicate it will more disastrous in the future for the civilians. And the end future the whole Gaza will be tunneled then it Gaza will fall into the Biblical judgement of total destruction! That is my fear for the civilians. May God intervene now......otherwise it's going to be scary. (end)

12. Kerry judges humans innocent
US citizen ,   Atlanta, US   (08.01.14)
God judges all mere humans guilty but will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. Humans that facilitate humans that launch rockets bear equal responsibility as the humans that launch them. We're all juast a bunch of humans and God was and is not in or about us killing each other, that's all us.
13. Be Careful
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (08.01.14)
Hamas has already broken 3 ceasefires. This could be another trick. The soldiers must be on alert at all times.
14. UN, UK, USA - time you realized Hamas are liars and
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (08.01.14)
cannot be trusted for a ceasefire. The minute you shook hands on ceasefire, rockets and mortar fire restarted from Gaza.
15. Ban. Would u condemn Nth Korea if they missiled your Sth Kor
Adi ,   Israel   (08.01.14)
Ban. Would u condemn Nth Korea if they missiled your Sth Korea with 3,000 rockets. All u speak is anti Israel. IDF is the most careful army to avoid civilian loss on this planet. All u are doing is giving a prize for criminal Hamas behaviour. Civilian loss. Hamas terror responsible. Dont try tell us that black is dusty white.
16. What an ygly pair!
(08.01.14)
17. Anyone willing to bet how long Hamas will honor ceasefire?
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (08.01.14)
18. do not agree to lift the blockade
C   (08.01.14)
huge pressure will be put on you to lift the blockade. do not agree under any circumstances.
19. Bibi wants a long term deal
zionist forever   (08.01.14)
The idea of reaching a 72 hour ceasefire is zero in the past Hamas have not even been able to stick to the terms of a 5 hour humanitarian ceasefire let alone 72 hours. All Hamas want is some time to go round the schools and hospitals to replenish some of their stocks of rockets. Long term Bibi would probably be willing to have some international force take responsibility for destroying tunnels because he wants to wind up this operation because if he insists the IDF finish the job could be there for months and he can't afford to keep up the operation for that long politically or economically. What Bibi does have to worry about is this ceasefire doesn't legitimise Hamas the way oslo legitimised the PLO and Obama putting on the squeeze Bibi into accepting a bad deal with Abbas.
