Obviously thats not possible considering we do not know where the body is and do we want to risk the lives of more soldiers to find the body of one man so body recovery will have to wait be part of a political process? I have a feeling the partial withdraw is allow Bibi to withdraw the troops without looking weak at home so he can have the political victory he needs to keep the public on his side because if he looses that he looses the next election and all politicians have to think about elections. Withdraw create a buffer keep that for about a month whilst he holds behind the scenes talks with Abbas, Obama and Sisi for a long term practical solution and slowly reduce the number of troops on the buffer. As long as the operation is short and sweet Bibi will have public support but the longer it continues the more support will drop off and the US is going to turn on Israel, especially with Obama & Kerry
3. #2 don't downplay Israeli voters
(08.03.14)
If he wants, Netanyahu will be reelected. All current Leftist leaders are unelectable because they are responsible for the war: they all supported Oslo, the ethnic cleansing of Gush Katif, the surrender to Hezbollah and the failure of Cast Lead. The Left has no valid ideas now that their darling Abbas had a unity government with Hamas and our "big friend Obama" gave Hamas 100% support? What sane person will vote for tunnels from Kalkilya to Kfar Saba, or rockets from Bili'in to Ben Gurion? Netanyahu will adopt Rabin's plan from 1992 for which he was elected, the Zionist Right will present the only viable alternative, and the Left will lie about the economy like Barak in 1998.
4. Is this stuff for real?

Something doesn't add up. I smell a rat somewhere. I don't know why but my gut feeling tells me this soldier's existence is made up for propaganda and psy-op purposes. The U.S. got up to these games during 9/11. I don't want Israel to slump to their level. Am Yisrael Chai!
5. Pointless exercise
Ivor Evenbiggergun   (08.03.14)
It was all over the Internet an hour after there was a realisation that he had been in Cambridge. The censorship of Israeli media is pointless and probably more to do with political considerations than anything else.
