The people in Gaza didn't look malnourished and there have never been reports of people in Gaza being malnourished. Sewage is spilling into the sea. Enormous amounts of money and supplies were used for rockets and tunnel networks. Many buildings could have been constructed. The people of Gaza are Hamas. The Charter of Hamas includes the destruction of Israel and frequently it is mentioned of the killing of Jews. Hamas isn't so different than al-Quida. Were people looking to negotiate with Osama bin Laden? Hamas is ready to start firing rockets again. Hamas is destructive to Gaza, Palestinians and Israelis. Radical Palestinian terrorist groups speak of driving the Jews into the sea. Look at all the murders of Jewish people including women and children. There was even the Jordanian that killed school age girls. There are people that don't care. We need Palestinian leaders that care about themselves and others. Otherwise, they are living in sin, hell bound and not worth being supported. Or else, you will see destruction in Gaza all over again. This coercion by Hamas is unjustified.

Obama is often accused of lying and not keeping his promise. We now see this is not true. Obama declared that "The future does not belong to those who slander Islam" and he is keeping his promise. Obama is accusing the Jew for daring defend himself against the genocidal Hamas and making sure that everyone ignores the real genocide of Christians and Yazidi at the hands of IS (armed with weapons Obama released from Libyan stores).

So the US President thinks that Israel should open its borders to Gaza. Firstly tons of supplies for Gaza go through the Israeli border every day, even during the war. Almost 150,000 Palestinians (from Gaza and the West Bank) receive medical treatment in Israeli hospitals every year and there are many Israeli business people who regularly travel into Israel for business meetings (my nephew meets with Gazas nearly every week). I think that Israel should review the embargo but ONLY after Hamas has revoked its charter to destroy Israel and the Jews. Perhaps the President has forgotten that there is still an embargo on Cuba and as far as I know, Cuba isn't launching rockets at Florida! Why doesn't the US cancel the sanctions on Cuba?
