The ONLY reason Israel is negotiating with Hamas is that Obama stopped Israel from fighting Hamas and declared he will use the full might of the US to keep Hamas in power.

I think what now will happen is that israel will in every way it can try to compare Hamas with IS....so that the world grasps what kind of evil Israel has to deal with.....when ofcourse Hamas is ruthless but not of the IS- kind....

Hamas simply doesn't CARE about the lost lives and devastation of Gaza. It doesn't discourage them one bit because they are sitting in concrete bunkers underground while regular Gazans die on the surface. They are entirely focused on destroying Israel; this war's casualties barely enter into their thoughts. Now, if 1/3 of Hamas had been wiped out, THAT would get their attention.
