2. shame on the author
Jerusalem ,   Jerusalem   (09.01.14)
It's the 'in thing' to scoff at religion and especially Judaism. This author lifts his self-image by slandering haredim in a country that considers it a great virtue, at all costs. Just erase the context, a rumor is enough, and attack!
3. Halachic internet book
Adina ,   New York US   (09.01.14)
Is this new book available online?
4. Lawrence A Dickerson conspiracy
Jerusalem ,   Jerusalem   (09.01.14)
your conspiracy theory doesn't make any sense. If true, it should say forbidden for gentiles to study, but it doesn't. Many do study it and misunderstand it. Jews should be allowed to defend themselves by teaching it correctly.
5. this book
iselin ,   oslo   (09.01.14)
Ridiculous and tragic at the same time. Better to keep them all ignorant and like sheep following their "all-knowing" (don't ask me how) rabbis. Glad that I live in the real world.
6. No 1. Internet could help you in learning English

You talk like a true ignorant.

persistent one. I quote A.Einstein Another quote Mediocre minds ridicule what they do not understand, I don't think you belong to this category since you seem to me a smart woman but may be you have a tendency, like most of us,me included,to jumping to conclusions. Have a fine week,Iselin.
9. ' to teach a Gentile the Torah'
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (09.03.14)
'It is forbidden to teach a Gentile the Torah'. How did this mistake get through the editor? There is no objection to teaching a Gentile the Written Torah which Christians call the Old Testament. We do not, however, teach the Oral Law, later set down in the Talmud, because that requires full-time in depth learning. Just to mention, this is also the reason we do not usually teach Talmud to women, although there's no technical prohibition.
10. Daf Yomi
Akiva ,   NYC   (09.03.14)
Just to note, you can do a wide range of Daf Yomi on the internet, for whatever level you require.
