1. Why aren't you out shouting from the ramparts about the carnage in Syria? 2. The "palestinians" are not under occupation. They started a war, which they lost. That's how wars work -- the aggressor loses territory. It has become obvious to all that Israel will annex Judea and Samaria. All Arabs in the West Bank are Jordanian citizens, courtesy of Jordan's 1954 Citizenship Law, which bestowed Jordanian citizenship on all West Bank Arabs and their progeny irrevocably. Jordan has tried to repeal that law, but the International Court of Justice in Den Hague has repeatedly ruled that an irrevocable grant of citizenship is precisely that -- irrevocable. So we are going to send all those Jordanian citizens home to Jordan. 3, The "palestinians" have been kicked out of Jordan, kicked out of Lebanon, kicked out of Tunisia, kicked out of Oman and Muscat, kicked out of Fujeira, kicked out of Abu Dhabi, kicked out of Dubai, kicked out of Kuwait and are only permitted to enter Saudi Arabia for purposes of haj and they must leave the kingdom within 48 hours, or else risk arrest. The "palestinians" create a lot of problems wherever they go. That does not mean that they merit a state; one does not reward a violent, terrorist rabble by gifting it a country. They can take over Jordan, what with Jordan being 90% "palestinian" in the first place. It is morally wrong for 10% of the population to control everything in Jordan -- and the ten percent that does control all come from the same extended family whose roots are in Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq). 4. Israel is a sovereign state and, as such, has an affirmative duty to protect and defend its citizens. We will put an end to the missile fire. We will continue to target terrorists in leadership positions, and we will continue to strike facilities in Gaza which are used to store missiles and from which those missiles are fired. The very act of using schools, mosques, hospitals and private homes to cache weapons makes those schools, mosques, hospitals and private homes legitimate military targets. Hamas commits war crimes by firing missiles at Israel's civilian population centers. That Hamas deliberately puts civilians in Gaza in harm's way makes them guilty of crimes against humanity. Israeli civilians are Israel's responsibility. Gaza civilians are Hamas' responsibility. Israel owes a duty of protection to its residents; not to the residents of Gaza. 5. Why doesn't the Arab League get involved in Syria? There is nothing to be gained by NATO involving itself in an internecine Arab conflict. If Arabs want to kill one another, it's their business, not NATO's. 6. Arabs are the most primitive people on the face of the earth. When will you learn how to walk upright?

A war of aggression outside intervention can have a positive effect. Civil wars must be fought out between the locals because its their county and you can help one side but then you have to hope the winning side is better once they gain power and that the people will accept them otherwise the fighting will begin again. In a civil war the locals decide when they are tired of the fighting and look for political solutions that can all live with. So far though the war has been good for Israel and has and the economic damage and number of people made refugees potentially can help Israel in the long term also.
