1. I think Bibi managed well.
Mendoza ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (08.28.14)
I should really say Bibi,Bogi and Benny. Who else amongst our politicans could balance all the factors that need consideration during a war.Bennet ,Lieberman ? I dont think so. Anyway I have never voted for Bibi because I am not your regular Likudnik, but I may wel support him in the next elections provided that he distances himself from crazies like ,Danon and his ilk.
2. Remember,Bibi avoided a massa...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (08.28.14)
Hamas invasion in Israel through the tunnels planned for Rosh Hashana. All these cease-fires was to minimize IDF soldiers life losses. Bibi couldn't act differently with citizens whose priority was to harm Yeshiva students [proof:Lapid's election] Tora study is protecting Israel. If you don't bear the burden of the Tora ,at least appreciate those who do. Israel is not a land like others . Learn history and culture of Israel and let us not blame Bibi for our ignorance. Bibi did the best he could . Thank you Bibi for your devotion and sleepless nights.Thank you Sara for supporting Bibi. You are both great. Now is the time for every Jew to focus on what he himself can contribute to make of our Land a better place to live. I suggest by adopting the Tora's "Veahavta at Reeha Kamoha"
3. in conclusion
Arn ,   Yehud, Israel   (08.28.14)
Netanyahu could learn something from Mashal. Ya'alon proved to be a dismal mumbling windbag, and when a spineless wimp like Ganz shows himself to be devoid of daring and without an ounce of aggressive imagination what more could we have expected? One more thought... Galant would have won this war decisively!
4. Ups and Downs
Joe ,   Israel   (08.28.14)
To prove that the vox populi is fickle, Obama and Winston Churcill are two leaders whose popularity plummeted. In the case of Sir Winston, this was after he had led his country to victory in WW2
5. Real looser of this war will be Bibi's political career
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (08.28.14)
2 predictions: 1. With the way the things started and how it ended/started/ended etc. you can bet that elections willbe called before the end of the year and Bibi will be out. 2. He will not lead the Likud when they hold internal elections, and the Likud will not lead Israel when general elections happen.
6. Who knows,he may take out a page from Sharon's book and form

a new party. "Ahora" (backward) may be a good suggestion for a name.
7. Thank you BIBI
EM ,   Ra'anana   (08.28.14)
I think Bibi did a great job. What on earth do his detractors want...or think we could have accomplished by staying in Gaza... Even if we could have annihilated every Hamas member..it would have been at a tremendous cost...hundreds of our soldiers - and civilians. What a miserable lot of people these detractors have become.
8. support plummets
mat ,   uk   (08.28.14)
there will always be people who will criticize would they have better in Netanyahu's position if Israel would have stayed longer in Gaza how many more soldiers would have been killed and will the criticizers say then Netanyahu has a very hard task in his judgment this was the best answer for now and good luck to him and Israel
9. safe too say
nadav ,   tlv   (08.28.14)
That Hamas will not wage another war, they achieve NOTHING on their end other than imprverishing the Gazan people. Hamas, like Hizbollah- and all other arab regimes, never admit defeat but rather always claim a victory (it's part of the lack of self-criticism we see across the Muslim & Arab world). Like Hizbollah, Hamas, will never attack Israel again because they know the price is too high and the world, especially the Arab world, will not stand by them, the barely did so this time around. As for Bibi, he just needs a quiet Gaza until the next round of elections.
10. Israelis cool down ! Think!
moshe ,   Tivon   (08.28.14)
Israelis cool down ! Think! PM Netanyahu is being careful in committing the IDF to destroy "ham", which will take months or even a year with the IDF in Gaza . Israel must also be prepared for hiz, ISIS in Syria (??), and even Iran. moshe
11. Bibi's sons lost summer because of the Gaza war
(08.28.14)
Have some pitty on Bibi and his family. They couldn't take a trip to France or Italy this summer. Poor family.
12. 6 Leave the "Ah" and keep "Ora'
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (08.28.14)
from Tora. Best ,for the team to function effectively , not only today [ahora] but for a long time.
13. Strange thing, no committee investigating a man
Miron ,   USA   (08.28.14)
who lost more Israeli lives than Cast Lead and June 2006 combined. Don't you think it tells a lot about who runs this English speaking 5th column. But it's not the Israeli losses that are staggering, but completely useless and savage killing of our Israeli opponents by this PM cabinet run IDF that raises questions. If this is not enough of a proof of enormous treachery and cowardice in Benjamen Netanyahoo than I struggle to find one reason that will shake this swamp called Israel.
14. Gazans have the sympathy of the world. Israel needs it also.
Michael ,   California, USA   (08.28.14)
Bibi can be blamed for his one-sighted vision focused on Iran for many years. He thought the situation in Gaza was manageable. In consequence, Israel has been losing friends and Gaza's leaders were able to accumulate weapons for operation from tunnels and public buildings. For all these fashlot Bibi needs to be sent home and the sooner the better. But not all is lost because two serious leaders have gained strength in the region: Sissi in Egypt and Abbas in Palestine. The next leader of Israel will need to work well with both of them and move quickly toward solid peace agreements that will guarantee security to all and last for a long time. The next PM of Israel will be one with much more humanism and acceptance by world leaders, a woman perhaps? I am sure with a PM of the quality of Golda Israel would have been in a much better position today.
