1. Indeed:good timing for constructing another Terrorist Entity

2. AIRPORT,SEAPORT are "above ground terror tunnels"
Jewdas ,   AMERICA THEBEAUTIFUL   (08.28.14)
BUT if they get their airport and sea port, they'll have that much more to lose in the next attacks caused by jihad the stupid
3. War crimes?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.28.14)
Really? So, how would the ersatz "palestinians" characterize the deliberate firing of missiles and mortars at Israeli civilian population centers? How would the ersatz "palestinians" characterize the deliberate caching of missiles, missile launchers and mortars in schools, hospitals, mosques and civilian apartment buildings? Those are your war crimes. The ersatz "palestinians" are also guilty of crimes against humanity, for knowingly putting Gaza's civilians in danger, because by caching weapons in schools, mosques, hospitals and apartment buildings turned those schools, mosques, hospitals and apartment buildings into legitimate military targets. Annex Judea and Samaria. Repatriate the illegal Arab occupiers to Jordan, country of their citizenship. Just do it. Sovereign states have rights, privileges and obligations that a terrorist rabble simply does not enjoy. Use it. No one rewards terrorist scum with a state.
4. #3 "No one rewards terrorist scum with a state. "
A ,   Belgium   (08.28.14)
No one, except King Bibi the Weak.
5. Why do that when you celebrate victory?
Jozef ,   Wroclaw   (08.28.14)
6. Abbas says, "end the occupation" !!! He says this often
miri ,   israel   (08.28.14)
enough so that the uninformed begin to believe him !
7. Palestinians
Jules ,   London   (08.28.14)
Netanyahoo has shown a lack of leade rship.Israel should have wiped out Hamas no matter how many civilians are killed . He needs to stop worrying what the powerless un & international court think. In two years maximum we will be back in gaza again.
8. Art Tsonis and ICC
Claude ,   UK and Cape Town   (08.28.14)
Even if PA convinced the ICC to investigate alleged crimes committed by IL in recent Gaza conflict, the likely outcome would also be very condemnatory of Hamas, as there is now sufficient evidence from sources other than IL confirming that Hamas Used civilians as shields Used UNWRA facilities to launch missiles Launched missiles with the specific aim of targeting IL civilians There are additional crimes committed by Hamas of public non judicial killings of suspected collaborators. The composition of ICC is not the same as UN Human Rights Committee, it is likely to be less harsh on IL and more harsh on Hamas than many expect. Be careful what you wish for, the end result may not be quite what you expect. More significan than anything else is the court of Public Opinion and on this the Palestinian cause in Europe, certainly in UK has been done a massive PR blow by the rise of ISIS and the general and increasing hostility to anything Islamic , For the great silent majority Palestine = Arab= Islam=Extremist No wonder UKIP is gaining more support
9. Go Abbas
Emma ,   Israel   (08.28.14)
And put Israel where it deserves to be,the HAGUE! It s about Time!Enough! Emma.
10. King Bibi the Weak refused to convene his cabinet
A ,   Belgium   (08.28.14)
before the latest "we cease, they fire", knowing that it would not pass a vote, but snuck off to meet the terrorist chief Abbas. Wonder what King Bibi promised him, sole authority over all of Yesha perhaps? Wouldn't be surprising at all, as long as King Bibi the Weak gets his daily Haagen Dasz fix.
11. Not in touch with reality
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.28.14)
The United States will veto any anti-Israel resolution in the Security Council -- besides, Security Council resolutions are not always binding and enforceable; depends upon whether they are passed under Chapter VI or Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter. To date, not a single anti-Israel Security Council resolution is binding or enforceable. If the "palestine" authority goes ahead with its plan to try any Israeli official before the ICC, all they are doing is broadcasting their stupidity. The ICC has no jurisdiction over Israel or Israeli officials because Israel is not a signatory to the Rome Treaty which established the ICC. And Abbas will have endplayed himself -- Israel will instantly annex Judea and Samaria, and 2.5 million Arab squatters will instantly become personae not grata, and repatriated to Jordan. Or sent to Gaza. You cannot turn international law, convention and the consequences which accrue to aggressors who lose a military engagement (Jordan in 1967) on its ear, or have one policy which applies exclusively to Israel and another policy which applies to every other country. Territorial losses are part and parcel of waging war and losing. Of course, Abbas remains subject to arrest for his role in the savage murder of eleven Israeli athletes in Munich in 1972. There is no statute of limitations on murder, and Abbas needs to keep that in mind.
12. The actions of Israel have been defensive.
Jerusalem, Israel   (08.28.14)
All the death and destruction caused by the Gaza offensive and previous conflicts have been provoked by other than the Israeli government. Any actions taken by Israel have been in the hopes of preventing any further deterioration of circumstances. The Israeli presence in the West Bank is another prime example. Israel should be able to maintain these postures with as little impediment to the locals. The attitudes of Palestinian representatives, including Hamas, has been destructive. Celebrations of "winning" conflicts and for ill-fated dilemmas Israelis experience shows the inhumane attitude that has perpetrated large groups of Palestinians. The rockets fired from Gaza that provoked a long awaited Israeli response is the sole responsibility of Hamas and other Palestinian factions in Gaza and any rights believed to have been had by the Palestinian groups should now be in the sole authority of Israel. Of course, Israel would work with the Palestinians in Gaza. After all, Israel has been allowing humanitarian supplies into Gaza, even as the persistent rockets continued to be fired into Israel. Gaza doesn't need a sea port. Sure, it could be convenient. But even after all the rhetoric of the resistance continuing until there be no Jews and/or no Israel, the Mediterranean could just as well be the Sahara and Gaza can very amply be supplied by land. The words emanating from the mouths of these "leaders" are more like the words of tyrants. The rule in Gaza is by intimidation and fear. Hamas has done more to bring misery to the people of Gaza. People in Gaza were complaining of not being able to marry and there was a lack of housing. Now, there's more a lack and so now all you are being is profaned even more. This is due to the "leadership" in Gaza. When are the people in Gaza going to wake up out of this stupor they're in?
