1. They are leeches
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.01.14)
Taking advantage of work opportunities in Israel, and returning to Gaza when it suits their purpose. Revoke their citizenship; let them stay in Gaza. That goes for the stupid Jewish women who married Gaza Arabs, too. We don't need such mentally defectives among us.
2. Very nice and interesting article
Non Jewish immigrant ,   Haifa   (09.01.14)
Thank you
3. Love conquers all.
DOV ,   Usa   (09.01.14)
These Israelis followed their hearts. They should be given medals for their bravery. Israel has an opportunity to show they want peace through helping make their coexistence easier.
4. wealthy vrs poor in Gaza
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (09.01.14)
What is not really mentioned is that the small wealthy class lives very well and the large poor class is really lumping it now. I can't really imagine anyone with any brains wanting to live in Gaza now. Hamas is determined to execute anyone it sees as dangerous to its reign calling them Israeli spies. Rebuilding for the poor will take forever and winter is coming soon. Hamas will take as much of the material that is coming in for humanitarian aid as it can to build more bunkers for itself leaving the poor to lump it again. Why anyone would want to live in Gaza is beyond me, except I can understand family ties, but still....
5. we know what journo-shmournos care about
Jhan   (09.01.14)
the rest of us don't though.
6. Israel is CRAZY to give Israeli citizenship to the children
(09.01.14)
What is this, the right of return? The Arab population inside Israel is big enough and growing rapidly. Why do we give Israeli citizenship to the many children of these Arab Israeli women who married Arab men in Gaza. ARE WE CRAZY? It's the dream of many non Israeli Arabs - both in the west bank and Gaza to upgrade their lives by becoming Israeli citizens and getting all the rights and benefits that Israel gives its citizens (without of course having to give something back, like serving in the army for instance, or without accepting Zionism). The first generation of these "new immigrants" are still grateful and keep a low profile. They know what they gained by becoming Israelis. Their children already feel that they have a right to fight Israel's Jewish character and Israe;'s right to exist as a Jewish state and become vocal and somtimes violent advocates of the "Palestinians". It's horrifying for me to know that Israel hands out citizenship to many non Israeli Arabs like there's no tommorow and like we don't face a huge demographic problem already in Israel with the fast growing Arab population.
7. No more Arabs needed in Israel thanks
(09.01.14)
Terrorists have already used family reunification to kill, perfect example is the sub-human who put a bomb on a tel aviv bus during pillar of defense 2012. He was not the first but should be the last. Yes he and other cynical scum like him ruined it for the rest. So sorry and good luck
8. You are welcome in London, Paris, Vienna...
roxanne ,   haifa   (09.01.14)
9. You people are lucky - family support, at least.
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (09.01.14)
I didn't have even that. My father said for my wedding blessing - "You made your bed, now sleep in it". So I had nowhere else to go. Luckily my place is here in Israel. But without family backup. What I am saying is that you girls made your choice - now cope with it.
10. The Rafah Crossing
Zechariah   (09.01.14)
That Islam cannot open the Rafah crossing to El Arish is a Humanitarian Crime .Ages forth if they Exist this will be seen as a Crime against humanity .Even the Chechalutz Sands in Southern Negev Israel could give tempory refuge to a Million Gazans under Jewish Security Rule .
11. What we suppose to feel sorry for her? And her terrorist

13. Gaza
Bob   (09.01.14)
Will always border Israel. It's important that more gazans become familiar with jewish culture so that they will slowly become more accepting of it, perhaps some may even decide to covert to Judaism (you never know), and even if they don't it's enough for them to just be ok with the culture.
14. To: Larry at No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.01.14)
Hamas depends upon the free travel of Israelis from Gaza to Israel. These Israelis bring much needed cash, electronic devices which are hard to come by, and more. Were it up to me, I'd seal the border. These women made their beds; now they have to lie in them. Not once do any of them acknowledge that Hamas ruined everything for them. Might be nice to hear it, once in a great while. But since that is not forthcoming, these women need to stay in Gaza. They've made their choice; some choices are forever.
15. boo hoo, these women are selfish... in case you wonder
Lily   (09.01.14)
why these women have to renew their Gazan's citizenship is simply because Hamas can take them as hostages in demand to free their men, for that we care if these women risk other Israeli citizens.
16. living in gaza -no smiles !
eddiE ,   sa   (09.01.14)
Am I missing something..? I am looking all over the internet for an arab adult who is not carrying a gun who has a smile on their faces Maybe it is forbidden to smile unless someone is killed!. Seriously though, this needs investigation.
17. No 9 - Barbara
Mike Carmel ,   Rishon le Zion   (09.01.14)
Wow Barbara, sorry to hear that your father was so harsh to you. That's really cruel and definitely not fatherly. Why did he do that? Did you convert to Judaism and that annoyed him? I can't understand how any parent could behave like that.
18. #9 - Mike Carmel - first thank you for caring
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (09.01.14)
No, did not convert to Judaism, I'm a Jewess from way back - maternal grandfather one of chief rabbis of Kiev - and whole family Jewish. And yes, back in 1968-1970, I did feel betrayed by my family. BUT the end result is a much better rewarding life than I had in United States till age 22.

OK well it's good to hear that you worked it all out. I wish you good health and all the best for the future.
