Let's ship all of the ersatz "palestinians" from Judea and Samaria to Gaza. Let them build their fictional state there, under the watchful eyes of the Egyptians. Should be fun.

Why blind and stupid? To get US recognition, Arafat and Abbas had to pretend they gave up their plan to destroy Israel and at least officially give up "armed resistance". After this war, Hamas has been recognized by the US and Europe after murdering three Israeli civilians, starting a war that involved war crimes from start to finish including shelling of Israeli civilians and they don't even having to pretend they don't plan to genocide the Jews. Arabs who support Hamas are not blind and stupid, they are picking the winning side.

This is really good news that "Palestinians" prefer Hamas over Fatah. Abbas and Fatah are FAR more dangerous foes than Hamas. Hamas is openly honestly genocidal. Fatah admit their genocidal intent mostly in Arabic. Moreover, Fatah has maimed and murdered many more Israelis than Hamas.

This should not come as a surprise to anyone especialy the Israelis. What surprises me is that the Israeli political leadership hat did not defeat Hamas and surrendered their initiative when they were at its peak are still in office.

Do you also hold Israel responsible for Sunni / Shia violence that has been a non-stop feature of Islam since the seventh century? Moslems generally, and Arabs in particular, are among the most brutal, sadistic and primitive people on the face of the earth. The only reason that civilized people court the Arab world is because of petroleum. But now that natural gas is supplanting petroleum as the fuel of choice, the Arabs are going to resume their rightful place in the world -- down at the very bottom of the evolutionary ladder. We don't care if you spend all your time killing one another; saves us the trouble. You must find it galling that Israel owns and controls two of the largest natural gas fields ever discovered. There's a spark of the divine in that, but you wouldn't know anything about it, would you?

Are you telling us something that we don't already know? Muslims are here to kill and die. We know that. The whole world knows that.

Hamas didn't get anything? Another victory point for Bibi? How much are his salary and perks? Is he supposed to give conferences on how to sink a country? Why not do without PM and put the first guy from the street? Maybe he would have more sense that this bunch of Groucho Brothers who ruled our country in the last decades. It is beyond words.

it is fascinating to watch arab muslim self delusion about their losses being turned into divine victories. even nasser claimed victory in the six day war. it is this myth making and self delusion which in part makes it impossible to have a rational relation with these people.

I believe the poll in the P.A. territory is correct. They didn't suffer directly from the recent fighting and they see daily the corruption of the Abbas' government. I have my doubts about the percentage in Gaza. Terror is there not only against Israel, but also against a part of its citizens. The poll can there be considered by a lot of people as a political instrument to see who is against Hamas and who not. But, no compassion with Abbas: he let Hamas into the P.A.-government and showed hostility towards us and the current Israeli government.
