Since the meeting in June, Steinitz and Netanyahu have both gone to extraordinary lengths to insult and degrade the relationship with Obama and Kerry.
The US has its own Iran issues and has 27 more years of direct experience dealing with Iranian governments hat Israel. The US has also negotiated over a dozen more nuclear deals that Israel, too.
So why should the US even talk to Steinitz about the issue when Israel is antagonistic on so many issues?
