"Two months after the ceremony, former prime minister Ehud Olmert voiced his opposition to the procurement of the costly submarines and harshly criticized then defense minister Ehud Olmert for deciding to purchase a sixth vehicle. " Self-criticism is a good thing, but this is ridiculous.
4. Does One "Christen" An ISRAELI Vessel?

Ouch, but bad choice of words. As long as it can go nuclear, I don't want to know anything else about it. And Israel could probably use a dozen more. Christened or otherwise.

Curious that the submarine Rahav was "christened" when it is going to the Jewish State. I know ships etc are referred to in the female gender but, given the shape of a submarine, maybe brit milah is a more appropriate term.
7.  "Christen" Sure why not?

Once you get past the German made part... the rest is easy. Folklore is ironic. ( wonder if the ghost of Hitler past would say ?)

for the posting by telling us how awful Germany is...from the man who insists on staying in Bavaria and whose name I have unfortunately forgotten...
