Not exactly news here. The Arab league will support terrorists using the UN to delegitimize Israel. Next up Arab league supports oppressing non Arabs and calls critics Islamapohobic

arab palestinians will get nothing through force, be it military or icc or diplomatic coercion. the only solution to the arab israeli conflict is through negotiations. negotiations cannot succeed unless the arab islamic world accepts without reservation the absolute legitimacy of jewish sovereignty in the lands of the jewish state. the jewish state is willing to negotiate in good faith all outstanding issues with the arab islamic world, but she will never give up her sovereign rights per previous agreements. neither force nor threats of force will end this conflict.

The last thing the Democrats can afford so close to a congressional election they are not expected to do well in is a Democrat president supporting an arab ultimatum in the UN. We will soon see if Obama sticks to his word and doesn't support it which will mean using the veto or if he will cave into arab demands because he wants their help fighting ISIS. Oslo was a result of an arab ultimatum given to George Bush senior in exchange for letting the US use Saudi airbuses to get Saddam Hussain out of Kuwait so be interesting to see if now Obama has what it takes to stand up to the arabs if he wants their help.

The Arabs need Obama more than he needs them at this point. Despite the military hardware sold to the Arabs in recent years, there aren't enough trained personnel to use them-- the Arabs NEED a cadre of US military to teach more Arab soldiers to use the equipment they already have. For the Arab League, the Palestinians have become a sideshow, at least for the time being. Oh, they'll pound on the tables, shout and scream, but only half-heartedly and won't follow through-- ISIS scares them far more than Israel at this point.
