I have to assume that the people who wrote this letter are disingenuous, because no one who understands even a smidgen of intelligence work is under the illusion that it is a clean practice. If there are any among these writers who are actually terminally naive they should transfer out of the unit; the others should be ashamed of themselves for their false morality.
