They deliberately attack civilians to advance their political goals. That's what makes them terrorists."Militants" attacks MILITARY targets, as the name implies. The left may think they are promoting peace by backing terrorists & sympathizing with the Arab cause, but they are actually only pushing the prospects of peace further out of reach by giving the Arabs false hope that someone will come to power and succumb to all of their demands.
