1. I'm glad to see Turkey is doing well even with

all the demands on themselves nearby. I don't think anyone deserves to be under authoritarian control. Every person deserves to be treated like a person. So I agree, to say "it has always been that way" or Muslims need harsh leaders to be over them gives up on people, and when we give up on people to succumb to their surroundings, we lose the 'salt' in life. It's not right, but many give up and let history roll over the top of people. We should try not to do that. It's important to try to be fair.
2. Turkey will FAIL. God is in control of all.

dream when Turkey wakes up and finds the hook in their mouths and like fish they will come on that horrible day. I, just a nobody can see that hook clearly, all over the world Men and countries with their jaws stinging from sharp invisible steel.

Whether Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Hamas, Boko Haram, Al Qaeda, or other variations of Islam, there needs to a 'tolerant-of-others' variation of Islam to take root. Otherwise ... ... no great future for an unmodified, intolerant Islam.
5. can someone buy this blind guy a mirror
Dante ,   Malibue, CA   (10.02.14)
"I'll be very frank, there is an Orientalist approach ... In the outside world they say: 'these Muslims, they really need an authoritarian leader, it doesn't work any other way' ... This is a form of hidden racism," How bleeping delusional these guys are. Turkey is on internal collision course, because these duo are tyrants. And that is the only way they know how to rule. But if you don't like what you see in the mirror just look outward And blame everyone else for your failures and problems.
6. IMHO, Turkey has everything ....
Mark ,   Lodz, Poland   (10.02.14)
Water, steel, raw materials, cherries.. ..so what's the problem being isolated? Start passing the countries wealth down to its own citizens. The refugees already there would be grateful for any jobs as well.

If the Occidentalist Erdogan and Davutoglu don't want the world to think Muslims need authoritarian leaders, stop being authoritarian leaders!
