1. Hard Job against Enemy Set on Genocide
Zechariah   (10.02.14)
It's a hard job against a enemy set on Mutually Assured Destruction. So the Reality ought be Stark .The Jews searched by the Holocaust and with a love for there Ancient Homeland can React and Defend and its Better to leave the Jewish State well alone .
2. what the hell does lapid know about the idf
marv   (10.02.14)
lapid like livni hates the idf, never served in combat and has no feeling for the idf life and death decisions and items like iron dome, tanks with antimissile systems, reinforced troop carriers with antimissile systames. he doesn't understand. Frankly neither does bibi, who throughout his career is unable to go for the throat. Sharon could, yaalon could, halutz and gantz did not. The israeli people showed grit yet the idf was not able to stop rocket fire caused it refused to fight dirty. Gantz acted like bibi and not an overall commander.
3. Gantz
Steve Gure ,   Coconut Creek Fl USA   (10.02.14)
He is wrong but what do you expect him to say? Israel's deterrent has been oblitarated. They have retreated while rockets were still falling on Israel. I am sure that not all tunnels were found and destroyed. He seems to be retrating from the subject of Hamas to Hezbola. I know that he is to be rewarded with an ambasadorship .

arne ,   chicago usa   (10.02.14)
Let me say this--It was a success--#1 Gaza will not want to fight another battle for god knows how long. The damage caused will take 12 to 15 yrs or longer to repair #2.Israel kept it's soldiers pretty much out of harms way--although losing 60 was 60 too many--going deep into a hornets nest would have cost them 10 times that amount. And #3 While the world watched on T. V. they saw the power and might of the I D F and that should deter others. All in all it was a huge success. What do people expect from a tiny country like Israel--miracles?
5. The Less Hesitation, The Better
(10.02.14)
The less Israel hesitates to wipe Hez away, the better. Nasrallah and his devils continue to build up a very sophisticated war machine. That job must be done, and soon, before ...
6. Gaza Operationt is a success
Harold ,   USA   (10.02.14)
Gaza operation cannot be described as success when using F-16 and US heavy war weapons murdering 2100 civilians and destructing thousands of civilian homes. The toy rockets killed only three Israeli civilians and 67 soldiers.
7. Success - then why are we in Israel still getting
barbara ,   Haifa   (10.02.14)
terrorist attacks (that luckily are prevented), rock throwing and riots from the Arabs ? Success to me will be when Arabs can live peaceably with Jews.
