4. Stop the insanity. Help "Palestinians" leave forever!
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.02.14)
Rather than funding endless terror, wars and misery, Israel should help "Palestinians" leave our land forever! Most of them want to leave. Polls have consistently shown this for decades. That is the real solution.
5. A merry go round
Raptor   (10.02.14)
Construction and then destruction, again and again. Plenty of money to be made over the dead bodies and the human suffering. When will they ever learn. The answer is blowing in the wind.

9. NOT One Thin Dime
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (10.03.14)
The US should contribute nothing. We paid to build and rebuild there too many times. Somebody else's turn.
10. HOW IS THAT MONEY TO BE SPLIT?
stude ham   (10.02.14)
AND WHERE WILL IT COME FROM? ... AND INTO WHOSE SECRET OFFSHORE ACCOUNTS WILL IT GO?
11. Estimated Costs
jOE ,   iSRAEL   (10.02.14)
How about an independent survey! How about a pledge from the PA and Hamas not to restart the 'armed conflict". It is ludicrous to ask donors to rebuild Gaza and have it destroyed again.
12. Let them use the money.....
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (10.02.14)
to pay Israel for the damage they caused us with their rockets and missiles.

Alan ,   SA   (10.02.14)

14. Bahrein, UAE, Quatar, SA...
Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (10.02.14)
..Here is a perfect possibility to demonstrate some of your vaunted, Islamicly inspired, brotherly love (I am still waiting on empirical evidence, but soit)....Keep things within the Ummah, ya know? Of course, I know where the dough will come from, and I, along with the rest of Europe's Jews, will be amongst the ones coughing it up. Preposterous, when you think of it.
15. above

16. The civilized world ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.02.14)
... acknowledges that Hamas is a terrorist organization. We don't fund terrorist organizations. In fact, in those civilized countries, funding terrorist organizations is a serious offense. Sorry. Nothing has changed. Anyone wishing to beat their breast in despair will do well to remember that Hamas kidnapped and murdered three Jewish boys. This is what prompted Israel to crack down on Hamas operatives in Judea and Samaria. This, in turn, prompted Hamas to express its extreme displeasure by launching thousands of missiles and mortars deliberately targeting Israeli civilian population centers. Of course Israel responded. It has an affirmative duty as a sovereign state to protect and defend its citizens. So -- predictably enough -- Hamas brought this latest devastation upon itself. No missiles -- no Israeli retaliation. That is not a difficult concept to grasp. Let the Qataris pay. For EVERYTHING. But Israel rules on what is allowed into the Strip and what is not. Sorry, but that's what happens to a war criminal terrorist organization. The get to reap what they have sown.
17. That OLDE GAZA MAJIC: sadly.
Jewceefruit ,   ATLANTA GA USA   (10.03.14)
That OLDE GAZA MAJIC: making donated funds disappear as if by magic... ok, lining up to take bets on how much of the 3$ billion will ever reach a single gazan citizen... I say maybe 5% on every dollar given, maybe even 3%...any more takers? it's a sucker's bet! Where is the transparency?
18. Don't you think they should pay for their own choices.
Jo   (10.03.14)
GDP of Jordan is 33$ Billion, an entire country. Gaza is not poor but more importantly when it chooses war, buys for war, and talks war. Do you think the it should suffer the consequences of its own choices. 3 times in seven years. Let their letters pay and learn. Don't reward such behavior, it is truly illogical
19. A Better Plan
Judith ,   Israel   (10.03.14)
The PA should take out a loan from the World Bank. The prospective donors should be the guarantors of the loan This would ensure that the rebuilding would go according to plan and that there would not be a resumption of the armed conflict. Failure to meet payments on the part of the PA would trigger a halt in funding and serious pressure from the guarantors..
20.  ": China could do it at half the Price " !
Roland ,   london England   (10.04.14)
Nobody ever takes a first quote without a comparison in the building trade !
