If he doesn't want to engage in the battle and prevent a massacre then it's his domestic problem, but not even allowing the US to use their fighter jets to save Kobani (and other towns) it is a problem for NATO as a whole. If he doesn't allow the core countries of NATO (US, GB, France, ... ) to defend the Syrian Kurdish people, they make NATO a joke. NATO must not allow this to happen! If Erdogan refuses to open the airspace for such a limited and necessary operation, then most of the NATO personal and fighter jets should leave Turkey.
