1. Excuse me, but ....
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.13.14)
... the land belongs to the State of Israel, reacquired in 1967 in the course of fighting -- and winning -- a defensive war against Jordan. The land is nonsovereign. It belongs to whomever controls it, and that happens to be Israel. We are not interested in gifting a state to a rag-tag bunch of violent terrorist miscreants who have engaged in terror for nearly a century. But I would ask this: were an ersatz "palestinian" state to be created somewhere, does that mean that Israel can deport all Israeli Arabs to that brand-new shiny state (which will likely be in Gaza, because it surely won't be in Judea and Samaria)? How many ersatz "palestinians" currently holding Israeli citizenship do you think would go along with that? When the modern State of Israel was founded, Jews flocked from all over the world -- including some of the wealthiest Jewish communities -- to help build a thriving state. The results of that determination and drive are self-evident. How many "palestinians" have picked up stakes and moved to Ramallah to help build a thriving ersatz "palestinian" state? The answer: NOT ONE. NOT A SINGLE ONE. Gee. I guess they don't want a state of their own. That might take way too much effort to actually build. They'd much rather take over the product of Jewish sweat equity. That's not going to happen. Throw the lot of them to Gaza, where they now have $5 billion plus to spend!

What peace? ,... You been regurgitating this crap and stealing their land for decades ,...
3. U. N. and Israel
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn, Holland   (10.13.14)
The U. N. has no right to intervere in Israelian business. It is an ineffective, undemocratic organization. MAY G.D BLESS ISRAEL!
4. BIBI IS TALKING TO THE INSTITUTIONA DEAF
stude ham   (10.13.14)
ban is a mockery... as if isis was not undermining the world...
5. Secretary General of the UN side with Hamas terrorists
CJK   (10.13.14)
hamas is a designated terror organization by the eu, the us, uk, australia, japan and others. hamas is the de facto ruler of the terror entity of gaza. hamas has been carrying out acts of terror against the sovereign state of israel for decades. hamas has been carrying out acts of war and aggression against sovereign israel and her civilian population for decades. hamas has been firing thousands of missiles into israel for decades in violation of the un charter and of the laws of war. israel has the right under the un charter and customary international law to defend herself. Israel has every obligation to defend her civilian population. the fact that the secretary general of the united nation sees it fit to side with terrorists against a sovereign democratic state, member of the un, proves that the united nations has stopped fulfilling its mission as set out in its charter.
6. To No.1.
Bertram ,   London, UK   (10.13.14)
Quite right. Deport all Palestinians - wherever they reside - to Gaza. Likewise, all those of British descent - wherever they reside - to the UK. All African Americans to Africa - and all Jews should, of course, be deported to Israel. Compulsory aliyah. I like a good plan.
7. US, UK, ZIONISTS...and the blue moon
Robert ,   Israel   (10.13.14)
For Muslims it has always, ALWAYS been someone from the outside that provokes all their misfortunes. It is time for them to start looking inside their own house and find out that it is not the external world but their own mentality that is the cause of their problem.
8. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.13.14)
Moron, there has never been a state called "Palestine." Only Palestinians, and the true Palestinians are the Jews. It is our land; you cannot "steal" that which belongs to you. You don't have to like it, but that's okay. Somehow, I think we'll get over the absence of your approbation without shedding a single tear ...
9. BAN IS A REAL POS
tTEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (10.13.14)
He should take a long walk off a short pier.....
10. UN has NO business participating in a hate fest
Isaac Storm   (10.13.14)
I am disgusted with the UN and in Ban. The UN has no business participating in a hate fest against Israel. Ban did this both at the donor conference as well as Ramallah.
11. # 2 Israel has peace pals have Gaza.
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (10.13.14)
UN is a partner with the pals and, both are a bad joke on ones sanity. Time for the fake 'pals' to leave Israel either voluntarily or.....Even other Arabs detest the pals.. Says it all. ALWAYS BUILDING!!!
12. Lesson on morality from Ban Ki-moon?
Shep in Memphis ,   Memphis, TN - USA   (10.13.14)
Under Ban Ki-moon's leadership, the Syrian war has raged for years, the UN has been caught aiding and abetting Hamas in Gaza, the UN troops in Lebanon have allowed Hezbullah control over the border with Israel - and ISIS has killed more Muslims in 6 months than Israel has killed in 66 years (defending itself), and BOKO-Harem in Africa are mutilating and enslaving women by the hundreds. So, with that said...Israel is going to listen to him preach peace?
13. ck is abovAs long as dome of the rock is above the
DOV ,   USA   (10.13.14)
14. Earth to Ban.What peace process?Pals reject Jewish state.
Sam ,   Canada   (10.13.14)
What are more peace talks going to do if Palestinians reject that they end up with Palestinian and Jewish states? It's not a matter of easing restrictions on Palestinians, releasing prisoners, freezing settlements, etc. This has been done before. Palestinians want Israel replaced with a Muslim entity That's the problem not settlements
15. fine no more unilateral moves than....
rm ,   amsterdam NL   (10.13.14)
which would ofcourse, also mean a total building stop in the settlements.....after all....fair's fair right?
16. UN ALWAYS BLAMES THE VICTIM!
R ,   Israel   (10.13.14)
And NEVER BOTHERS TO CONSIDER THAT THE PA/HAMAS HAVE A TRACK RECORD OF BEING TERRORISTS! EVERY SINGLE DAY THEY DO A NEW TERRORIST ATTACK, AND YET, ISRAEL IS FORCED TO SIT WITH THESE CRIMINALS!
17. Pinhead @ 8 ,...
split ,   US   (10.13.14)
Except in your fairytales there has never been a state called Israel no dude named Moses or mighty kings like David or Solomon ,... Curiously archaeologists unearthed Gobekli Tepe in Turkey from 9.000 BC, there're still standing structures from 5.700 BC in Mesopotamia, 4.500 BC in Egypt but they can't find a god damned brick from Solomon's mighty temple and still looking for his gold mines ,... It looks like an archaeologically verifiable history missed your mighty kingdom called Israel and her chieftains so did the neighbors in their recorded history ,... Coincident?;) ,...
18. The Land of Israel
Brod ,   USA   (10.13.14)
The Arab Islamists lie to the world claiming that the Land of Israel belongs to them. It is time Israel counters these by using the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob against the lies of Satan-the inventor of lies. Israel's most effective tool to educate the world and counter the lies of the PA Islamist-Jihadists-Usurpers is the Bible which they most feared. Ban should be educated on this. Just because the usurpers want to usurp the Land of Israel, it does not mean that Israel has to cow to the Dhimmi world colluding with Israel's enemies. Israel can just say NO. It does not matter if the dark forces-haters of Israel wet their pants. Make them more wet.
19. To Sarah B & Split
Bertram ,   London, UK.   (10.14.14)
Curiously, you both share the same bankrupt argument but from opposite poles. Forget the 'history'. Misusing history in the way that both of you do would mean the Turks returning to central Asia, the American Europeans returning to Europe, in fact the entire global population playing musical chairs. It's utter nonsense. Israel is a fact. It exists. To destroy it because you read 'history' in a certain way would be a crime against humanity. Likewise, Palestine exists, even if it is not yet a state. There is a Palestinian national consciousness. there is a Jerwish national consciousness. Not all Palestinians are nationalistic, not all Jews are nationalistic. That is beside the point. Start from where we are with the task of working out an optimal, not ideal, solution for both peoples.
20. Bertram @ 19 ,...
split ,   US   (10.14.14)
You're wrong I'm trying to show her that her biblical "God given right" argument to that part of the world doesn't have archaeologically verifiable proof and it's nothing but conveniently adopted fairytales to support their land grab and to secure a support of some or quiet consent of other Bible peddlers especially those in US, after all most of them became multimillionaires or make a good living by peddling this crap ,... You see my friend your sober approach to this arrangement doesn't sits well with their mind set and attitude after all they're the chosen ones and the rest of us are there to serve them. On the other hand their approach pisses us off periodically and ends up with payback. If you refuse to submit to this crap and resorted to forced expulsions why should the Palis do? ,... At the end despite the religious obstacles everything depends on mutual respect and sharing the burden to have a State and motherland and that what's missing in their attitude to the point that they refuse to blend in or adopt native language despite sharing the country for centuries ,...
21. By the way Bertram ,...

23. To Split @ 20
Bertram ,   London, UK.   (10.14.14)
Let me clarify. Ancient histories are continually subject to debate and revision and are therefore useless for the justification of the territorialisation of nationalistic ambition. The justification for Israel rests on its existence as a contemporary state with international recognition. The justification for Palestine rests on its existence as a putative state with eventual international recognition. The two are not mutually exclusive but do require painful decisions on both sides.
24. Bertram ,...
split ,   US   (10.15.14)
Agree with your sober approach but not with this crowd of arrogant, self-righteous expansionists that didn't catch up with 21st Century ,... Let me put it this way they are not natives there they're invaders that imposed themselves in rather nasty way on local population and it doesn't matter for natives if with blessing of those that got tired of them or without the response of the natives is just like the response of your immune system when a foreign germ invades your body, reacting. It try to defend itself, sometimes it ends with defeat but never without a fight. In face of defeat at the end the germ dies with the body that didn't make it but not in this case with 1.5 billion and multiplying bodies you don't have to be a rocket scientist to predict who will be on the top when the dust settles. I don't pretend that I have an answer or any alternative to UN decision but so far no one does, looking back at their co-existence record with different nations and cultures I doubt that anyone ever will. In regard to Palestinian conflict, too much blood on their hands and an impassable obstacle to negotiate, their FAITH with ''AN EYE FOR AN EYE, AND A TOOTH FOR A TOOTH" embedded in their mindset there's no room for compromise and peace with their neighbors.
