With this zigzag it's no surprise you are not taken seriously. ISlam, HAMAS, IRAN, HEZBOLLAH a.o. don't zigzag and ARE taken very seriously by the entire world!

4. Hamas reputation is still too good!
barb-test   (10.22.14)
Barbarians come in various colors...... But, all are still barbarians...... Who needs proof that Hamas leaders are barbarians, not withstanding but they or Phyllis Bennis, Amy Goodman say?
5. Abdillahi Nur Facebook: the Arab fighters are terrorists
(10.22.14)
You Arabs go on about this lie of being the innocent victims and freedom fighters for so long that you actually believe your own lie. Hamas like the Arabs ("Palestinians") from 1948 and before that fight Israel for one reason and one reason alone - to destroy Israel and the Jewish presence in the holy land. There was no "occupation" on 1929, 1948 or 1967, and still the Arabs opened wars against the Jews in Israel and before Israel was established. The arabs are one of the most barbaric and violent societies and people on the face of this planet and the last thing they are is freedom fighters. They have no idea what freedom is. There is NO freedom in any Arab society on this globe.
6. The wisdom of zigzag (according to Bibi):
Scharp ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (10.22.14)
There shouldn´t be a palestinian state, says Netanyahu. Keeping Hamas in power in Gaza is good - it further complicates the intra-palestinian situation. Now we have deterrence for some time. Let Hamas get money, let them build. Uri Avnery once said that since 1967, Israel has applied a system of "warm and cold water" in the territories. If things became hot and violent, Israel acted to pour water on the flames. Sometimes, Israel added fuel to fire, for different reasons. There is a season for everything - time to bomb in Gaza, time to build, with the sole purpose of preventing the establishment of a palestinian state.
7. #3. If Hitler had a daughter, these lunatics would help her!
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.22.14)
#3. You are right on target. If Hitler had a daughter, these lunatics would help her also. What we are seeing is the biggest threat Israel and Jews face. Not Anti-Semitism. But a Jewish death wish. It is prevalent among Jewish leftists; but not exclusive to the left. Either we kill the death wish or it kills us.
8. to Barry Zel and # 5
Stan ,   Israel   (10.22.14)
Barry - Your arrogance is disgusting. Nur states that they hate the occupation not Jews. Palestinian land is being annexed (stolen) Hamas is like Etzel and Lehi, and in no way resembles ISIS. When Hamas was formed 30 years ago, it was supported by the Shin Bet in order to weaken PLO # 5 - In 1967 Israel attacked first. (I was here ) You are one of those "warmongers" who refuses to see that times have changed. I've got news for you: 1. Israel has signed peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan. 2. The Arab League states have said that they are willing to make peace with Israel if Israel withdraws from occupied territory. It seems that you are one of those messianic Jews who wants to retain all the occupied land, hence your belligerent language.
9. To Shoshie Borchardt
Stan ,   Israel   (10.22.14)
Please list the UN states who support you opinion that IT ALL BELONGS TO ISRAEL. 1980 years ago, Bar Kochba (encouraged by Rabbi Akiva), thought that he could piss on the Romans. The result was the annihilation of most of the Jews in this land. Now you and those who think like you want to do the same to the whole world. It took 25 years of BDS to destroy White South Africa. It will happen here as well. PS God doesn't do miracles anymore.
10. Badr 2014
observer ,   Egypt   (10.22.14)
Maneuver Badr 2014 is underway till Nov 6. In Bader 1996, 60% of Egypt's army was moved in the depth of Sinai, over all high alert of units was achieved within 11 minutes. this one is bigger!
11. To #8, Stan - almost a "war is peace"-comment:
Scharp ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (10.23.14)
I said a few words about how I perceive the policies of Netanyahu, while referring to the zigzag-comment by Yoaz Hendel. My opinion? I supported the peacedeals with Egypt and Jordan, I believe Israel should be proactive and approach the Arab Leauge. Then there are real security threats from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah and others, that have to be adressed. But things are complicated. Some enemies would like Israel to become a failed state. We have to stop them. At the same time, we have to cooperate with the palestinians and try to bring peace and prosperity to all.

Mathilde   (10.25.14)
keep in mind how politicians always like to do this and that....but the writer refers to "Israel" as the goverment and ironically not as Am Israel. that doesnt mean the government and the prople of Israel have a "du parsufim" attitude, or that what we want to do as the people of Israel, is different from what the israeli government want to do. Indeed Israel and his people want peace between palestinians and israelis; want affordable prices to buy houses, apartments etc, low taxes, everyone wants the arabs countries neighbors to low the oil prices, and also muslims of the middle east to live in peace, lowers taxes to buy cars, to delete the TV absurd tax, a better public transportation system, baruh H' i am educated already.
