The man has done damage to Israel's relationship with the US and must now suffer the consequences. Of course he can always hang with Adelson and get a nice donation to his Likud primary warchest. As Kissinger observed Israel has no foreign policy only domestic politics. However a senior minister of the government should at least have the sechel to not make comments like a typical rightwing Ynet talkbacker.

Ya'alon wanted to meet with his counter -- Defense Secretary Hagel -- and with top American intelligence officials. The United States administration rejected this because Obama has his panties in a twist over Ya'alon's absolutely accurate assessment of John Kerry. Well, we did try. So should something go boom rather unexpectedly (yet again!) in a certain Middle Eastern country, we trust there will be no squawks of outrage from the Moslem in Chief and his Secretary of State. Same if there should be an unprecedented announcement from the Prime Minister of Israel concerning Israeli sovereignty and the proposed disposition of illegal and undesirable aliens. If they do not know, it is because they deliberately chose not to be informed. Certain things cannot be communicated by electronic mail or telephone calls. I suspect it will be the United States administration that will end up being humiliated and turned into an international laughingstock.

I am so pleased that you realize this. Of course, with such a petty and infantile reaction on the part of the United States administration, there is no longer a need for the sovereign State of Israel to confer with the United States should Israel choose to annex Judea and Samaria .... expel all illegal and undesirable Arab aliens therein to Gaza ... blow up a few more Iranian nuclear facilities ... bomb Hezbollah .... you know, all the things that the United States rather foolishly expects Israel will not do without prior consultations with the United States. Of course, if high Israeli government officials are precluded from meeting with the appropriate U.S. administration members, then you can hardly fault Israel for taking action WITHOUT prior consultations with the United States, right? Be careful what you wish for, sluggo, and be REALLY careful about what gives you cause for celebration. It can be very fleeting. This time, rest assured that it will be the United States administration that will end up being extraordinarily humiliated. Couldn't happen a nicer bunch of idiots, though, could it?
10. Predictable and nor surprising

When one leads from behind, is biased, anti-Israel, pro arab and doesn't know the facts, then one would snub Moshe Ya'alon because their conversation would be brief, and Mr. M Ya'alon ideals with reality on the ground and b.H.o. lives in a dream world. To sit down and discuss reality on the ground and security is paramount in a relationship between allies? Rumor has it the lead from behind administration wants leave out the US Congress on resolution of the ending of sanctions and letting tehran stay as a breakout state? If you don't have the answers and don't want resolve the issues, you condm Israelis and Jews from building in Israel, Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem??? But what about isis/isil? What about assad? What about hamas? Two years left. Feh
