There is no place in the State of Israel that the President of the State of Israel cannot visit. That's just how it works. An apology has already been extended. The tragedy which happened fifty years ago pales before the tragedies to which the Jewish people have been subject at the hands of the Arabs. Yet no apologies have ever been forthcoming.
The key point here is that the President of the State of Israel can travel wherever he likes in the State of Israel. If certain Arabs feel differently, I invite them to vote with their feet -- leave for a country where they will be happier. If they are that unhappy in the State of Israel, they are free to leave at any time, and try their luck in Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, or anywhere else.
