The deteriorating relationship between the Israeli and US administration is directly related to the opposing interests of both countries in that region. There is nothing Israel can do to improve them, short of risking it's own security and bowing into International pressure which there is no end to. Not sure who the author is but they miss the mark with this publication. Yes, the relationship is in tatters between Obama and Netenyahu but all will be fine again in 2 years when Obama leaves office. The Obama administration has been extremely dogmatic and narrow-minded in this view, and it has resulted in catastrophic policy failures in Muslim countries that have set the world on fire, from Libya to Yemen to Syria to Egypt and so forth. This belief is also why when extremists take an "us or Israel" approach, Obama always sympathises with the extremists, as we have seen in peace negotiations, Gaza and now Iran. No matter what Israel does, as long as Islamists attack Israel the only way to excuse those attacks without blaming the Muslims will be to blame Israelis. The problem is that in their desperation to avoid "Islamophobia" people like Obama have no problem verging into anti-Semitism and Israel-hatred, and they are totally in denial about what is happening in the Middle East.
