2. Barak is an Israel destroyer.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.01.14)
I am no Bibi fan. However, to be fair, Bibi is far better than Barak. Barak's lunatic concessions to "Palestinians" and his determination to get a terrorist leader to sign a deal, at any cost to Israel, brought Israel perilously close to destruction.
3. It's a bad habit
Citizen ,   Israel   (11.01.14)
to rack one's garbage bin in search for a lost toy, however beloved... We have just safely forgot that there was a leader much worse then Ehud Olmert, and yet Mr. Abramovich wants to resurrect our very own mini-Bonaparte... It's about time to legally ban anyone called "Ehud" to run for office in this country.
4. Who are you kidding Abramovich?
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.01.14)
Making endless concessions to sworn enemies is what Barak is best known for.
5. Written with tonge in cheek?
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.01.14)
To be serious, Barak's flight from South Lebanon 1) betrayed the only allies that Israel ever found in the Middle East (Lebanese Christians), 2) precipitated the Second Intifada (because Palestinians saw Israelis as cowards), 3) enabled Hizbullah to sit with 100,000 missiles on Israel's frontier. So anything - including his amazing self-enrichment - is preferable to his return to power.
6. I used to think like Mr. Abramovich, but...
Scharp ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.02.14)
...Ehud Barak had the opportunity to carry and develop the legacy of Rabin, but failed. It is still possible for miracles,. mad developments, especially in Israel - and who knows, maybe Barak will be back, for a final show in politics. But lately I´m inclined to look for new leaders and new constellations. We shall see.
