1. 20 years, ?Offer alternative of house destroyed !
Roland ,   london England   (11.02.14)
2. stiffer sentences
Iletzter ,   Tel Aviv   (11.02.14)
This will not solve the problem. They send minors to throw stones, minors who cannot be sentenced. Throwing stones must be recognized as a lethal terrorist act, which is more than just penal issues. Police should be alouwwed to shoot live amunition , maiming their feet. Parents of minors should be totally responsible for minors. There should be an airborne systen hovering over Jerusalem at all times that will laser paint stone throwers and inciters and they should be able to be identified and picked up at any time.
3. we should at least make the right noises a la Little King!
(11.02.14)
4. Bibi is NOT a chickenshit!
(11.02.14)
Israel WON a war in1967 and it should NEVER have given control of Temple Mount to Arabs. That was a SICK behavior! Israel MUST regain sanity and do what is logical to be done! Do that ,Bibi!
5. I hope ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.02.14)
... that the new law will apply to juveniles as well. In any event, these hoodlum stone-throwers do their twenty, and out of the country they go. If the Arabs want to ratchet up the violence, Israel can very easily ratchet up the Draconian measures. A word to the wise -- if you think you can find some among the ersatz "palestinians" -- most of them just like to riot and cause mayhem. Defective DNA.
6. STONE THROWERS
OBSERVER ,   ISRAEL   (11.02.14)
HMMM. Will this also apply to the Settlers and Religous stone throwers........I doubt it.
7. a good start

O ,   Mars   (11.02.14)
12. How long will it take from approval of bill to implementing?
(11.02.14)
"when" it will be implement, can we expect any of them to sit in jail for more than a year with Israel's goodwill policy?
13. Investigate insitgators
Brod ,   USA   (11.02.14)
Israel should investigate the instigators and inciters to violence in Jerusalem. Examine the flow of paid Obama Islamist-Jihadist thugs infiltrating Jerusalem and fomenting chaos and lawlessness in Jerusalem as the Muslim Brotherhood did in causing the upheavals in the Middle East. Catch those thugs and trace their sponsors, masterminds and terrorist leaders.
14. Bill approved to imprison Palestinian stone throwers
Aymen ,   DENVER USA   (11.02.14)
This is absurd. If Israel is a democracy then imprison Israeli soldiers that have killed innocent Palestinians first. For Gods sake the Israeli government engages in a brutal repression of the Palestinian population, demolishes Palestinian homes, engages in illegal land grabs and then the repressor wants to criminalize the oppressed and to top it off the oppressors claim to be pious. Freedom and justice for Palestinians or the absence of it will only further pose a detriment to the existence of Israel.
15. Sarah B.
Al ,   US   (11.02.14)
Sarah B. is obviously talking about her self and her Zionist Elks. You driven the local inhabitants by fore and fear out of their homes, robbed them of their positions and destroyed their homes and families and you call them hoodlums?
16. better solution
(11.03.14)
Even if arrested and tried and convicted, the stone throwers will never be jailed for twenty years: even Arabs who murder Jews don't sit that long. The only solution is the one that Netanyahu refuses to do: massive building of Jewish homes as a response to Arab aggression
17. Status Quo? That means subjugation of Jews.
Economist ,   Be'er Sheba Israel   (11.03.14)
The 'Status Quo' means severe and unjust restrictions for Jews. More and more, Netanyahu shows himself to be exactly what Feiglin said... "a sheep in wolf's clothing". He talks big but acts like a scared child. What is he afraid of? Does he not remember his training in the IDF, or the excellent book he wrote about how to deal with terrorists? Compromising with our most vicious enemy at every opportunity is shameful. A better solution would be to let the Muslims keep the Northern and Southern parts (the parts added by King Herod) and let Jews take over the middle part (the original Har HaBayit). That would keep the ultra religious busy (mainly arguing about who is a real Cohen and Levi) and let the rest of us who just want to go up there during the hagim and Shabbat have a chance to do so. It's absurd and anti-Democratic to restrict Jews' access to ancient holy sites, and arrest them for moving their lips in the 'wrong place'. Where are the 'social justice' activists? 'Down at the cenotaph drinking slime.'
