31. Not the bi-national state ,...
split ,   US   (11.03.14)
It's the numbers, stupid - Your lazy, unruly, allergic to service black hatted modestly wrapped tribe is going to overcome you with numbers and take you down ,... Looking at your (I mean zionist's) territorial appetite and warmongering attitude the sooner the better ,... Have a good one ,...
32. #24 "GREED FOR LAND"
tTEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED CYNIC HOUSE   (11.03.14)
Are you for real ? Israel is very TINY ,so how can it be " greedy for land?
33. What's the opposite of bi - national ( a travesty to begin
Miron ,   USA   (11.03.14)
with since Israel carries for 100 nations ). A Jewish state for Jewish people? And you want me, my son, my daughter, and my wife to support such idiocy? I am for Jewish club Beitar Ierushalaim, and for a reason. It's a good reminder to those who tried to kill us to keep around. But you, when it comes to Jewish football club suddenly all pale and squeezed. Like a rotten flower... and blame me for racism. What a piece of work these writers.
34. #21 - Muslims do NOT want to annihilate the Jews
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (11.03.14)
This is the major, tragic flaw in your and many Israelis thinking. If, magically, all Jews packed up and left the ME, the Muslims would NOT follow to harm them. From the Arab perspective this is just another European "crusade" except this time it is Jews instead of Catholics. Like all native people, they want to repel the invaders. Both the Jews and the Arabs were lied to by the Brits and the French, as a result the Jews "invaded" the Arab lands with the help of the Brits. Once you understand their perspective, you might be able to get your delusional paranoia under control.
35. Sleepwalking to One State
Daniel ,   London UK   (11.03.14)
There is no protest, because the delusion of the Left is over and the country is waking from its dreamlike state, that it can have peace if it only gives away Land. Gaza has shown the falsehood of the Peace Now movement; ISIS, Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood and their fascist Islamic allies are all waiting to flex their muscles in the Jew free Palestinian State the Left and the old Zionists pretend is the answer. No ! The true Zionists know that Israel is Jewish Land and since our Palestinian neighbours refuse to accept that, along with their Arab brothers, we should put an end to their dream and proclaim a State over all Israel. Zionism is not being cancelled - it is finally growing up.
36. #31 Muslims certainly do want to annihilate the Jewish state
Sam ,   Canada   (11.03.14)
Muslims want to replace the Jewish state of Israel with a Muslim entity. They expect Jews to be cowed into surrendering to them. That's what they mean by peace - not Jewish and Palestinian states. Let it be very clear to Arab and other Muslims. Jews have no intention of surrendering. For Jews, it is the Jewish homeland.
37. US commentators not caring for Israel
Daniel   (11.03.14)
As always after these articles, there are lot of comments from the US and other countries attacking anyone advocating peace. Guess what, if you don't live in Israel, you don't have a say! Sure it's easy to sit in the US or Europe and say "no no no to peace!". You guys don't have to live with the consequences of an eventual Arab majority and your opinions are irrelevant as long as you don't live in Israel.
38. #32 The Palestinian state would be even tinier
(11.03.14)
But you don't have enough. And before you think of sending them to Jordan try thinking about yourself moving to Europe or America.
39. who is sleepwalking?
(11.04.14)
Plotzker makes false accusations to support Leftist policies that have abysmally failed over the past 22 years. The first person who actively spoke of the danger of "one-state solution" and was attacked for it by the Left was Lieberman, why doesn't Plotzker give him credit? Worse, Lieberman has proven that following Plotzker's idea for establishing Jew-free states in Gaza and Judea and Samaria will inevitably lead to a "one-state solution". As an aside: the one-state solution advocated by Rabin and Shamir in 1991 would have brought peace. The one-state solution now is difficult exactly because of the Leftist machinations since 1992.
40. #37. Jews are a growing majority in Israel
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.04.14)
#37. The hoax of "the coming Arab majority" as an excuse for ceding Judea and Samaria is long debunked. Judea and Samaria Jews have one of the highest birthrates in the Western World. They make Israel viable and are huge demographic assets to Israel. Jews are a growing majority in Israel.
41. one state
Larry ,   Israel   (11.04.14)
Egypt is taking steps to end the flow of weapons into the gaza strip, building a 8 km buffer zone .. Do you really think Jordan could take steps and block weapons along a 200 km border '!
42. Plocker AND the arabs are delusional
Jonathan   (11.04.14)
There is no one to talk to. The Gazans are wa, way too brainwashed and focus only and only on hate. It is not a rational behavior, and there is no point any more to try, given the way they act. Bottom line is, if the world wants to continue in invest and support Gaza and it's military moves - good luck. At the end of the day, people can say what they want, we all know that Israel has left Gaza and removed all the settlers from there - and got NOTHING but missiles in return. The Gazans can continue to prove to their people to move back into Tel-Aviv, etc... hopefully, the next solution/war will be a lot less 'polite'.
43. One state ≠ bi-national state
Aharon   (11.04.14)
A one state Israeli state is possible. The demographic threat is greatly exaggerated. Also, there is nothing that says under one state that Arabs have to be separated from the Jews or that all Arabs will necessarily become citizens in such a country. What needs to happen is that Israel extend the ability for Arabs to become citizens of Israel. If they choose not to, they will be permanent residents of Israel. This solution would actually be better for the Arabs, as well, not because it gives them an opportunity to take over Israel, but rather it gives them the ability to live under a democracy and freedom from the authoritarian PA/PLO. The Arabs who act violently would be treated as criminals under Israeli law. Also, with the end of the PA there would be less incitement as there wouldn't be a government, the PA, supporting it.
44. sleepwalking toward a one-state solution
connie mack ,   camden   (11.28.14)
Here in Israel, peace, tranquility and prosperity will reign as a sacred Trinity as soon as Knesset legislation force-closes Yisrael Hayom. Then we will enjoy the security that all citizens of Cuba and North Korea take for granted.
