1. Too true
Steve ,   UK   (11.04.14)
Excellent article! America has played a big part in messing up the middle east. Israel would be wise not to do as it is told to do
2. too nice
(11.04.14)
Haetzni is too nice. American track record is to abandon allies for what they perceive is their own self-interest. Carter chose to eliminate the Shah and destroy Iran at the bidding of the Saudis. Bush Sr. isolated Israel because of his friendship with the Saudis. Obama decided to make a fundamental change by eliminating dictatorships and supporting Jihad: he overthrew the stable Gadaffi and American ally Mubarak; he tried to overthrow Syria; he has imposed an arms embargo on al-Sisi for his conflict with the Brotherhood; and just last week he proudly announced how he helped Iran get nukes.
3. NETANYAHU MUST DISTANCE
CAPTAIN OBVIOUS ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (11.04.14)
Netanyahu ,if he is smart , should distance himself from those who intend to harm the jewish state, he must become unavailable instead of flying to the US every few days to be lectured to and patronized and bullied. In his shoes ,I would not allow myself to be bullied ,if any bullying were to be done I would be the bully. MAN UP ffs.
4. KERRY NEEDS TO MIND HIS OWN
tTEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED OBVIOUS   (11.04.14)
Kerry needs to mind his own business and stop trying to intimidate and bully Israel. Kerry needs to find a proper and respectable job...McDonalds always need workers.
5. The Turnip Truck
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (11.04.14)
Only somebody who just fell off the turnip truck can be convinced by he falsities of the arguments. Carter offered care and treatment to the Shah for his cancer and refused to surrender him to the Ayatollahs. Carter did not give the Shah cancer. Carter did send in Delta Force, but the US military, expert in jungle war at the time, had trouble in the desert. Bush the Younger (not Jr.) and his administration had a plan outlined by the Project for a New American Century. That plan was foiled by Iraq no liking being invaded. So Bush agreed, after 4500 dead, to withdraw. The Agreement was in writing. Obama implemented it because the price to ignore it would have been hundreds or thousands more US dead. Gadhafi was a mass murderer of Americans. He ordered the deaths of hundreds. Sorry, no Saint. A shame you don't like Obama. Americans elected him twice. The alternative was not palatable to Americans.
6. So Wrong on So Many Points
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (11.04.14)
Carter tried to invade Iran. The Shah got cancer treatment in the US. The PNAC-Bush plan was about world domination, not WMD. Bush agreed to pull out of Iraq. Obama would not agree for US troops pay the price to stay. Gadhafi was a mass murderer of Americans. The US no longer supports mass murdering military dictators.
