My heart goes out to the family, friends and neighbors of Samir Assli. When we are running for our lives away from danger, the Samir Asslis, the Jadan Assads and all those who serve in the police, fire department, MDA and IDF are running towards the danger to take care of it on our behalf. We are blessed and I am honoured to have such brave fellow citizens who sign up to serve the nation knowing that they may die in our service. May Samir Assli's memory be for a blessing and may his family be comforted in their mourning.
