I almost fainted when I heard obama comments that he was 'appalled by Israel's attack on Gaza. What did he expect? A pillow fight in Gaza? Then, obama tried to stop both the Iron Dome ( strictly an Israeli invention ) and Hell Fire missiles when Israel OUR ally asked for them. Thanks Gen. Dempsey for telling the truth that Muslim obama wanted to hide. It's gonna be a rough two years with Alcoholic Muslim obama at the helm. Pray for 1- impeachment 2- Resignation 3- a heart attack or stroke. KEEP BUILDING !!!!

it is uplifting that the american armed forces acknowledge that the idf acted correctly and went beyond the call of duty to protect the civilian population of gaza during the last operation there.

Kol hakavod to Army General Martin Dempsey and to all those who don't agree with this article they should ask themselves what would you do if you had thousands of rocket fired at you indiscriminately and compare IDF fighting a war to other wars around the world do other armies warn civilians before bombing and most of all Israel did not start this war and use your recourses and time where there are real killing of civilians

A couple of years ago Obama leaked that he will attack IDF, IAF and INF if they will be headed toward Iran. At the time I told everyone I knew that American military, pilots, General, Admiral and even rank and file will refuse such orders. Incidentally a couple of months ago I heard Bill Bennett, former Secretary of Education, who has two sons officers in the Marines that they introduced him to a friend of theirs and officer in the Navy Seals. Bennett said to him that they are the best in the world. The Seal replied that they are indeed the best after the Israelis. It further strengthened my opinion about the special relationship that exists between the American military and the IDF.
