Yemini starts with a bald-faced lie by saying "Abbas once abhorred violence as self-defeating". I challenge Yemini to find one shred of evidence for that statement. The closest thing Yemini will find is that Abbas, before and during the last war, saw how Saudi Arabia and Egypt were condemning Hamas so he said that violence, although legitimate, did not serve the PLO interests at that specific moment in time. As soon as Abbas saw Obama's alliance with Hamas, he changed his tune and ordered the current Intifada.
