He gave his life in defense of his country. Protecting the citizens of Israel is the highest command and he never hesitated to risk his life for this principle. I am encouraged to read some of the Haredim are acknowledging his sacrifice and heroism.

is the first word that comes to mind when I read of a Druze serving in the army who has laid down his life to save the lives of Jews who do not serve in the army. The last word that comes to mind is disgusting. Anti Zionist Haredim, living in Israel, supported by the state and the taxpayer are defended by a Druze soldier, loyal to the state, who died defending them. A very strange and anomalous situation.

I doubt it as they have shown tine and time again to be notthing but sheep. They use religion to shirk their personal respondibulity. When it comes to praying ,they pray like angels. When it comes to dying.....

Conscription in Israel. Druze are not kept uneducated. We are not of the same mentality as you #8. You have no respect. Druzim are highly respected in Israel without assimilating.

As usual Split peddles lies that have no factual basis. Druze have always been patriotic supporters of Israel. They chose to integrate into Israeli society and have a higher standard of living than Arabs and even other Druze living in Arab countries. Israel badgers love to lie and call Israel an apartheid. i know for a fact that there are educated druze who also want to educate their children.

Druzim are amongst the nicest people in this land. They are mentch and a good example. Long ago I learnt it says in the Talmud that they are descendants of the rightous Yitro. If this is true or not. All Israeli druze are citizens of their native country, while the druze population on the Golan were Syrian citizens prior to Israeli annexation.
