2. Right infallibly correct about every major issue
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.22.14)
Diskin is a disaster. The right has been infallibly correct about every major issue from Oslo to Disengagement to Arafat and Abbas to the Golan The left is infallibly wrong on every major issue. Does Disk in think Israelis are dumb enough to follow him to another Oslo? Diskin makes a lot of noise and has nothing worthwhile to say.
3. As always, the only way the Israeli lunatics of the Left can

come into power they've lost (seems indefinitely) is to gang up with the Arab enemy from within. If I didn't know better, I wouldn't put it past their dirty character, that the "intifada" they need so badly is sanctified by their Central Committee!
4. 1000% right
Sam ,   Paris France   (11.22.14)
Right wing and religious mind are bringing jewish people far from reality To see god everywhere and the palestinian nowhere we lose reality And we prepare fresh jew meat for the Nazislamism, don't dream the Highest jew prayer can't stop a knife we have to defend ourselve and separate from them
5. Excellent article as always Mr. Diskin
Dave ,   Sao Paulo   (11.22.14)
Unfortunately people seem too blind to listen to you, despite all your vast security experience and your complete rationality. It's very sad, I hope more Israelis realize what you are trying to say and demand the government to act responsibly.
6. Jerusalem situation
Dafna ,   Las Vegas, US   (11.22.14)
You make very valid points in your piece. And I agree, Netanyahu has proven himself too weak. I am in no way an extremist, however, due to the situation with the Arabs in the past few years, the only solution to this problem lies at the feet of the Israelis. First, the Knesset needs an overhaul--no more coalitions, and a clear Constitution. The weakness in our government is caused directly by the coalitions. Second, there is no East Jerusalem. Jerusalem is one, it is the capital of the State of Israel, period. You live there, you respect the government, if you insist on being treated separately, better pack your bags and leave. As to the religious issue, the biggest mistake Israel made was not to destroy the Al Aqsa mosque upon the reunification of Jerusalem. It is the source of the problems. Letting the Muslims desecrate the Jews' holiest site, and allowing them to continue doing so is unacceptable. Al Aqsa is there just for incitement. Muslims have no connection to Jerusalem, or for that matter Israel. If they choose to live in Israel, they should be loyal to Israel. Period. No other place in the world allows its inhabitants to get away with so much. Why should Israel?
7. Ignoring Reality
Alan S. ,   Beit Shemesh   (11.22.14)
While I respect Mr. Diskin's service to the state his remarks completely ignore decades of incitement on the part of the Palestinian leadership. Whether Abbas gives direct orders for terror acts is debatable. What is not debatable is the fact that Abba and the Palestinian leadership incite their people to violence against Jews through their active or passive support of education which preaches hatred in schools, mosques and their media. Let's not forget Abbas's public praise of terrorists and partnership with Hamas. Mr. Diskin's hypothesis that if we are nice to the Palestinians they will be nice to us is out of touch with our unfortunate reality.
8. #3, the RIGHT zombies turned Jerusalem into a worst war zone

9. #2, Diskin tells the Bitter TRUTH, which is Hard to Swallow
Z.Lackow ,   israel   (11.23.14)
The Right brings Israel to more and more and more terrorism and violence in Jerusalem especially. The Right is not able to understand that it is dealing now not with 300,000 palestinians as in 1968, but 10 times more. And in 10 years the idiots will have to deal with 5 million. And what will happen then ? Just imagine...
10. right-wing = disaster for Israel

"I am in no way an extremist....". Yes - and did you also know that Islamic State is peace-loving? You can say that Jerusalem is one until you are blue in the face but will not alter the reality one jot. It is a divided city - culturally, lingusitically and religiously - even among the Jewish population. Your position is framed by wishful thinking. For Muslims, Jeruusalem is the third holiest site. Muslim Arabs of east Jerusalem did not choose to live in Israel - the Israeli state chose it for them in 1967. So, Jews, Muslims, Christians and others living in Jerusalem need to work out how to exist alongside each other. Forget the blame - devise a plan.
