The elimination of the VAT tax for Israelis buying their first new home only applies to those who have served in the army or done national service. Most Arabs have not served in the army. the declaration of independence clearly states that we "hereby declare the establishment of a jewish state in eretz israel." if israel is not a jewish state, then what is the purpose of her being? the entire world understood that a jewish state was established and declared as a refuge for the jewish people. zionism is the right to self determination of the jewish people. if livni rejects hatikva as the national anthem, then what would she substitute for it. livni and the clueless lapid seem to want to turn israel into an american state. does livni want to revoke the law of return and flood the country with millions of enemy aliens. it is very difficult to understand what she wants exactly. it is naïve to think that democracy is practiced the same way in all countries. jewish values are in fact the source of much of democracy in the world.

is it democratic that arab muslims in Israel refuse to serve in the idf while they receive social security, health benefits, the right to free speech, free press, free association, free religion, free education, freedom to incite against the state, freedom to hoist the palestinian flag, the isis flag, freedom to riot, freedom to form arab parties which enter the knesset. if the arabs refuse to sing hatikva they should be allowed not to sing. it is insane to deprive the vast majority of the population from singing hatikva because it upsets the arabs who are ready to murder us.

It guarantees the rights of minorities and their freedom to preserve their language & culture. There is nothing unusual about the wording. All countries, France, Ger,many, Spain, Japan, etc. give priority to their own nationals & their descendents regarding granting citizenship. Opponents of this bill favor granting citizenship to infiltrators & creating autonomous zones in the Galilee & Negev for Arabs.

Not to be selective as to what she like and does not like and so chooses when to agree or not agree. It is she that is undemocratic by procedurally halting a committee vote last week by undemocratic procedural means. She acting alone and without consensus on that day.

have Israel as a state that has a Jewish majority than an exclusive Jewish state. If Israel is to survive in the modern world it must emphasize that it includes all religions and races on an equal and fair basis.
