Israeli 2   (11.25.14)
Positive feminist instead of a negative feminist. Positive feminists are good and normal and smart and pleasant and nice and very successful. The negative ones are...you know....yeah.

Just goes to show that beneath the distinctions characterisng traditional Islam and Judaism lies a very similar mindset.

Judaism believes woman and men of of equal status but different, and have different roles. I don't know if that is the same as Islam or not but it doesn't mean woman are inferior to men. Judaism in many ways favours women, such passing on Jewish identity is through the woman, and woman are excused many Miotzvot that are time related, where as men are obliged to perform them however inconvenient it may be.

Women are equal, but different. "Vive la difference". I will take any mid-intelligent woman before this myopic idiot for any function that requires judgment and rationality.
8. Too much time in his bunker.
Steve ,   Sf-USA   (11.25.14)
This is what happens when you allow a megalomaniac to stroll around his 1,100 room palace with paintings on the wall of himself. Someone needs to quietly approach the front door and put a lock on it. Erdogan is way past his Morsi expiration date.
9. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.25.14)
I don't know about your shul, but the shul I attend is Orthodox. Women and men sit separately. But you know what? There I am, sitting amongst CEOs, physicians, lawyers, judges -- so what was that you were saying about mindset? Perhaps you should shy away from making sweeping assessments on subjects of which you really know absolutely not a thing.
