What do you want to bet that she took the appropriate photographs at the appropriate airports, and then promptly skittered off to Canada, or some country where they wouldn't delve into her background too closely. When will you stop using the term IS/Islamic State? Not only do you legitimize this gang of murderers and bullies, but you also insult every Muslim in this world by connecting Islam with these murderers by calling them IS. Do you not see that you do them a PR-favor by respectfully calling them by their chosen name? Why don’t you call them by the name that is used by the brave men and women who fight them and by increasingly the rest of the world? Why do you not call them Daesh? You are doing damage by calling them IS. You are conditioning your readers into thinking that IS is an official state body. Especially young people grow up hearing IS here and Islamic State there and think it is a worthy cause to join up to defend “Islam” or an “Islamic State”. Don’t you see that you are doing irreparable long term damage by calling them IS and not Daesh? By calling them Daesh you take away a lot of allure from them for coming generations of young, dumb people to join them. Because, unfortunately, these murderers are here to stay for a long time. Please do drop your habit to call them IS or use the terms “execute” or “behead”. Stop lending them this breath of legitimacy (…Islamic State has executed…) and call them what they are: “Murderers” and “murdered”. Please start using the term Daesh for those murderous bastards like the rest of the world. Thank you.
