What a pathetic club for popularity contest winners. Israel needs total direct elections and throw out the warped system they have. The government salaries should be no more than the national median- not a shekel more. Let them try to live on what the average Israeli makes. The Knesset isn't the Roman Senate! These MKs are carpetbaggers- good old boys looking out for themselves. Cut their salaries OR THROW THEM OUT.

It would be more useful, when doing comparative salaries between various countries, to include the tax rate. Indeed, Israelis clearly are taxed at a higher rate than many of the above mentioned countries. Hence, NET INCOME would be a better comparative report.

Hate to disagree but the fact is Yeshivot are funded by our tax money, Yes me Mr Secular, you know those awful secular people that serve in the army, work and pay taxes so that you and your ilk can sit on your holy backsides all day doing nothing. If you want to be religious then fund it your self. Separate state from religion
