Rampant terrorists kill, maim , behead, self explode, commit mass murder, kidnap rape and enslave innocent young girls and all they can do is try to show the world how good they are. I for one do not give a fig even if they did use torture and it was not useful. At least the terrorist and their friends felt, perhaps, a bit of pain, although not quite the same pain that they have been inflicting on others. the purpose of these interrogations was to elicit information, not to terrorise. only totalitarian regimes use torture as a political tool to terrorise. in such situation torture is used on the population in general and arbitrarily. it is used on minorities to change their religion or ideology.
