Lieberman's politics scare me, but at least he's honest about his position, which is more than you can say for Bibi. I'd like to hear what other readers think of Lieberman.

he goes from right to left and the middle. his criticism of the gaza operation shows that he lacks the requisite military experience. netanyahu and ya'alon were correct not to attempt to overthrow hamas at this point in time. the army's challenge is to the north with iran and its proxies as well as the various islamic terror groups, including the islamic state's terror army which was just discussed by hagel with ya'alon. all that said, hamas will not survive forever.

Zionist forever - I know you're a decent and good guy, and I know you mean well, but for the love of God, STOP referring to Russian Jews as "Russians"! They are NOT Russians! They are Jews! Just STOP doing it. They are NOT "Russians". They are JEWS from Russia - most of them are as Jewish as you and me. JEWS and Russians ARE NOT the same people - they never were and never will be. They don't look the same and don't share the same genetics. This is not an opinion - this is a FACT. Most of them don't look Russian - they look Jewish, their ethnicity is Jewish, their religion is Jewish - they belong to our people. Don't forget, many native Sabras are Russian Jews who came to Israel in the 1800s and the 1900s. It's about time that we Jews STOP referring to ourselves as "Germans", "Russians", "Moroccans", "Poles" "Iraqis" etc. We are all ONE and the SAME ethnic Group of people called the JEWISH PEOPLE. Our forefathers are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the ancient Israelites/Jews/Hebrews - not Arabs, Teutonic or Slavic tribes. If we are "Russians" or "Moroccans, (which we aren't - we are more homogenous then you Think) then what's the point to Israel? Insisting on calling Russian Jews "Russians" WILL create confusion amongst Jews and non-Jews as well. The Russian Jews are as Israeli/Jewish as anyone else. We are one people - remember that. There are mixtures among them? Yes there are, but most of them are real ethnic Jews. However, I do agree with your analysis of Lieberman and his deepest personal political intentions - this seems very likely. Anyhow, Lieberman has lost my vote.
