Utterly depressing. Humanity appears to have changed little over the millenia. We mouth platitudes about universal human rights while continuing with mass murder. Make no mistake, the barbarians are responsible for their own behavior - they have made the choice to commit evil acts. And it cannot be stressed too much that the existence and actions of Israel and the West in general are used falsely to justify barbarity. At the same time, we are aware that by itself no amount of military reaction will eliminate the Taliban, IS, Hamas, etc. - they will only re-emerge under different guises. There has to be positive concerted action on the part of the non-barbarians of the world to establish a moral order grounded in mutual respect and non-violence. It will be a long and hard road - and, yes, I know this will be dismissed by many as idealistic nonsense. Perhaps so - but the alternative is to live with war and perpetual fear. Maybe that is the reality - I hope not.

The Taliban attack that lead to 130 dead students wasn't original, it was the Hamas game plan for using their terror tunnels against Israel. If Taliban is condemned for genocide, whence the support for Hamas? That is why Zionists are bewildered not only by Obama backing Hamas against Israel (backing that prevented the eradication of Hamas) but also at Leftist leaders Livni and Herzog who insist on negotiating with Abbas despite his unity government with Hamas.

We know that 300 little girls were kdnapped by Boko Haram in Nigeria. We know that girls have been kidnapped by ISIS, and forced into slavery. We know that girls in Moslem countries are subject to clitoridectomies. We know that so-called "honor" killings abound throughout Islamic societies. We know that Hamas loves to surround missile launchers and weapons depots with women and little girls (boys are too valuable, I guess). As long as it is Moslem-on-Moslem violence, why on earth would anyone care? There's so much of it already, trying to fix what is wrong with Moslem society is a little bit like trying to empty the oceans using a teaspoon. They have to fix themselves. As long as they confine their violence to their communities, it's really none of our business. It becomes our business when it overflows into Western countries who are not interested in living under Sharia law, and consider "honor" killings to be a crime. When they fire 100,000 missiles at Israeli civilian population centers, it becomes our problem. Unless and until -- let them clean their own house.
