It has been proven again and again and again over the last 60 years that economic interests are utterly secondary to first religious and then nationalistic interests when it comes to Muslim/Arab hostility to the Jewish state. Diplomatic tensions have never been alleviated by mutual economic interests. Turkey and Iran are perfect examples.

for better times. What Israel needs will be provided... How does Keystone pipeline doing... together with Canadian dollar...
3. This is a bad decision. Period.

Any Knesset session that allows gas exports to Turkey should be jailed for treason. Turkey will never return to modernity- Erdogan has chosen to side with the Islamopaths and that is only bad news for israel. Israel should keep the bulk of its gas for itself for an energy-safe future. It doesn't have the right to sell out its future for some quick money today. The gas belongs to all Israelis- NOT Turkey or any other Israel-bashing country.
