1. Covert vs Open Disclosure
Zechariah   (01.02.15)
The Problem is The Jews are Heavily Outnumbered and after the Holocaust not at all in the mood to be humane to Enemies Especially Fanatics Who Hate Jews .Yet the because of the Holocaust the Jews Wanted to have limits on Barbarism.I believe in closed courts but understand the need for deterrants to excess cruelty .Its hard only the USA as in Vietnam had Courtmartials for Barbarisms .Islamic Jihadi and the Fatah Ba'ath Torturers before and after WW2 had few Qualms .
2. Arab lives in Gaza are subject to the whims of Hamas, not IDF

3. no dilemma
(01.02.15)
All the investigators, lawyers, judges, journalists and members of NGOs who "need to investigate" and want to judge the combat soldiers are required to live with their family, including young children, within one kilometer of Gaza, and Iron Dome is set not to protect them. I think that those who "need to investigate" will soon escape the quandary.
4. The MAG is the top legal authority in war
Shachar ,   Eilat   (01.02.15)
He should be defending the officers and soldiers on the legal battlefield while they defend him on the real battlefield. These "friendly fire" investigations are a self-inflicted wound ....it's time the MAG took on the enemy instead of his soldiers.
5. the good old days
(01.02.15)
Before the idiotic Oslo Accords, supported by Herzog and the Left, all of Gaza was "controlled"by two reserves battalions. The Arabs lived and prospered alongside their Jewish neighbors, rarely saw IDF soldiers (except when the soldiers came to eat at their restaurants or but at their stores). There was no danger whatsoever to the Israeli villages around Gaza. Now, thanks to the Oslo Accords, the Leftists are investigating IDF soldiers daring to defend Jewish children from the rockets the Left themselves gave to Hamas.
6. war is war
(01.02.15)
80% of the Arabs chose Hamas knowing it calls for genocide of the Jews, and Hamas chose to go to war on Israel. Enough said.
7. where are they?
(01.03.15)
Netanyahu and the Right have no international legitimacy. Anything they say is rejected by the international community. On the other hand, Herzog and Livni are viewed as moderates and reasonable. Now that the IDF is under attack for defending their lives, why don't they defend the IDF? Why are Herzog and Livni silent while the IDF soldiers are being attacked?
