1. Israel Stop the Monthly Money Transfers to PA
Vladik ,   Bat Yam   (01.03.15)
Israel should immediately halt the money transfers to the PA, in turn the PA won't be able to pay its salaries and Abbas will be toppled. His mandate has expired in 2010 and he has since gone bananas. The only criminals that should stand trials at the ICC are terrorists like Abbas, Haniya and Mashaal. Time for a change of leadership on the Palestinian side, enough hypocrisy and corruption.
2. half the story
(01.03.15)
ICC may be a good step, but it is only half the story. Abbas shattered the Oslo Accords by taking unilateral steps including joining the ICC: he has unilaterally nullified the Oslo Accords. Also, after he rejected Livni's generous offer, he joined the genocidal Hamas in a unity government. Netanyahu should now take a first step towards peace: dismantle the Palestinian Authority, transfer Fatah operatives to Gaza and negotiate peace with the local Arabs.
3. War CrimesSince1880
Zechariah   (01.03.15)
The War Crimesneedstartfrom 1882 without obviously the abilitytopunishthe dead but as a introduction.Or1920 .Or 1929 in Hebron . Or1935 Withthe Arab Revolt againstJewishEscapefrom Nazi occupied Europe .The Palestinian Arabs will have their Cases but one fact remains .From the sea to the River Mandated Palestine in 1939 could have had wtwelve million people's .Six million Jews and Six million Arabs .
4. So suddenly we'll acknowledge the well known & documented
(01.03.15)
crimes of Arab Jihadists? I hope not, for our own sake. Not after all of our "Beloved Leaders" have been praising the virtues of these very same "peace-partners". If we press charges, then I want them also to include our leaders!
6. This is just stupid
Mr Psanter   (01.03.15)
Instead of focusing on the Abbas gang, Israel should concentrate their effort on Hamas leaders first and foremost. How come that EU out of blue decided that Hamas is to be removed from the Terror list? How come that Hamas leader in Qatar is not worried of any lawsuit? Most of all: How come that Qatar, a so-called respectable country isn't getting a lawsuite for protecting and assisting a terror organization? The State of Israel got it all wrong (once again) and is mistaken about the priorities.
7. Good Withhold the Tax Transfers Until Elections
Yossi Belkin ,   Ashdod   (01.03.15)
Israel should withhold the PA Tax Transfers till the Israeli elections and deprive the corrupt Palestinian government of this money for months if the punishment is to be meaningful & effective. Abbas you should know there is a price for your silly behavior very soon you will be answering questions about war crimes not us. Time for you to go Abbas you are no partner for Israel. U.S. should replace Abbas with another younger moderate leader. Abbas is just an old fart no more !
8. injured parties, destroyed property must now be free to sue

9. Rolling reductions in electric power,
Gideon Reed ,   USA   (01.03.15)
and reduction of other utilities and civil support suplied by Israel to the areas of Judea & Samaria controlled by the PA and certainly to Gaza (controlled in full by Hamas) are a long overdue series of measures. Blackouts and time controlled water deliveries as well as reduction of supplies which make day to day living tolorable are definitely called for.
10. freeze my as*
happy settler   (01.03.15)
How many times has Israel pulled the same stunt only to give them the tax money after a week. LAst week a soldier was almost killed on the Gaza border- no response after all the big bull talk- and now all the big election bluff starts again- SOS!!!
11. Can someone tell me why Hamas is not hauled before the Hague
Jewish Doctor ,   ATLANTA GA USA   (01.03.15)
Can someone tell me why Hamas is not hauled before the Hague, the ICC, the World Court??? Hamass admits (brags about) to committing over 22,000 targeted missile attacks on non combatant innocent Jewish civilians - children, elderly, all those Jewz who could not defend themselves.???? Name the names! Who are the directors of these attacks? Show their faces to the world. Who is to blame...Name names!
12. No paycheck this month
John ,   Boise, ID USA   (01.03.15)
Excellent move. What a way to ring in the New Year with a surprise when no welfare entitlements come in the mail. This is a prime example of the old adage: Money talks and BS walks. Looks like it's time for the PA to take a hike...they haven't had any exercise in a long time.
13. Making more crimes don't help Israel
Harri ,   EU   (01.03.15)
Don't be stupid. If you steal money from the occupied nation, it is an another war crime.
14. I wonder why PA still does security work for Israel
(01.03.15)
If my employer withheld my salary I would tell him to find someone else for the job.
15. Punishing the Palestinians
Harold ,   USA   (01.03.15)
I can say the Palestinians are already wet and they are not afraid of rain anymore. Abbas can dismantle the PLO and will let Israel, the occupying force, to look after them and that will be a huge tragedy for Israel.
16. Oslo Accords
Harold ,   USA   (01.03.15)
When did Netanyahu and his followers recognized and respected the Oslo Accords you are talking about. Mr. Rabin was assassinated for that Accords and now Peres is struggling to reactivate it.
17. #13
Harold ,   USA   (01.03.15)
Well said. Moses' commandments say stealing is a crime, but this is Netanyahu's usual habit i.e. REVENGE.
18. To Harold -15
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (01.03.15)
Please spare me the none sense the biggest beneficiaries of the PA is Abbas and his corrupt gang. Israel withhold the tax money for a few months and let's see if Abbas lasts. Israel can take care of itself, we know best how to do that. Time and time again the Palestinians fall in the trap this time they should be left on their own. The IDF can provide perfect security for Israel and Judea & Samaria
19. hard to belive they are looking for statehood
zionist forever   (01.03.15)
They get billions every year mostly from international aid money its the kind of budget a small third world country earns ( not donated ). You look at how it was for the zionists, apart from a handful of wealthy Jewish donors and here we are talking about Israel withholding $125 million which is probably an average unnual income for Israel in its early years because exported so little and imported so much.
20. Israelis and money! Go figure
Shylocke   (01.03.15)
21. #9 Impossible
(01.03.15)
Israel as the occupying power is responsible for Palestinian welfare :)
22. WITHHOLDING THE TAX IS USELESS
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (01.04.15)
Once PA goes to ICC then they are going to get caught in the legal battle for years. This is how ABBAS wants to get out of this. He is just looking into ways to bail. Let them start the legal steps. That is the best for Israel.
23. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.04.15)
Look after the ersatz "palestinians?" Are you serious? We're going to send them to Gaza once Judea and Samaria are annexed. But that shouldn't be a problem. Wasn't Gaza promised $5.4 billion by the international community? That's a lot of money. The ersatz "palestinians" will be just fine. In point of fact, with THAT much money, Israel can stop providing FREE food, FREE fresh water, FREE electricity, FREE petrol, FREE home heating fuel, FREE medical care and FREE very expensive medication. $5.4 billion can buy a lot of necessities, don't you agree? No one's going to rain on that parade, would they? I mean, the international community loves the ersatz "palestinians," don't they? I'm sure the international community would even volunteer an additional $5.4 billion -- you know, for swimming pools with every villa? The ersatz "palestinians" don't need Israel! They have the international community to look after them.
24. #20, sure, no one else in the world has money
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.04.15)
25. The ICC and Israel...
BBSNews ,   Santa Fe, New Mexico   (01.04.15)
...why all the fuss? Why I have heard it on good authority that the IDF is the most "moral" in the world. Surely a stop at the ICC will prove to the world that Israel is innocent of breaking Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Conventions more than 600,000 times, won't it? And of course cynically withholding the Palestinians own money... That will surely make the world see that little Israel is a poor innocent nation that would never break the law...
26. # 11 I believe Hamas IS charged at the Hague
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (01.04.15)
with Crimes against Humanity. Seems the Hague is acting very slowly....
27. It Appears USA and Israel Are Dirty
Brian ,   Palm Coast, USA   (01.04.15)
I would imagine the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and other senior Palestinians knew that their inclusion to the ICC would allow their own to be prosecuted. It is cowardly of Israel and the USA to sanction them for wanting to join the ICC. It is also cowardly of Israel and the USA to fear being held accountable for their actions by the ICC. Where is the justice in that for all concerned? Israel and the USA claim that they are nations governed by law, don't they? Why would Israel and the USA want to try Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and other senior Palestinians in courts in the USA? I would suggest that those USA courts are biased and not impartial and that the ICC would be impartial and that the USA and Israel view this as unfavorable because they cannot compete on a level playing field for prosecutions, if any. This is a cowardly action taken by the USA and Israel.
